I always seem to forget about this film when people ask me what my favourites are. I haven't seen it for years but watched it last night and fell in love with it all over again.

Its about a hitman who takes in a little girl after her family gets bumped off by some bad dudes. You see how their relationship grows as he teaches her stuff about the world of "cleaning".

It's a pretty old film, Natalie Portman is in it and is really young. Jean Reno plays Léon and is awesome. Gary Oldman is the bad guy and plays it pretty well.

Your thoughts?

I'm sure many people around here have seen it. Natalie Portman probably does the best job of any child star I've ever seen IMO in the movie.

Sadly, I've only seen The Professional. So I've missed the extra 10 minutes or so. Stupid American release.

I love this movie. One of the few movies I can pop in to watch anytime and never get tired of watching it really. Just the perfect blend of drama and action.
