Axl Rose tried to slam Weiland for only releasing one album so far.

Weiland released a statement back saying how he's been too busy touring that first album all over the world for the past 3 years and asks what has Axl been doing during that time?

VR > G & R for me. But not based on their last (first) album which was meh at best. There was some songs that were leaked on the internet which sounded like Slash's riffs and Weiland's vocals but I couldn't be sure. I have like 5 of those tracks on my old comp and they are all kickass.

Also, Weiland sweated on me and I have not bathed since.

If I were a woman, I'd be a Jezebel Junkie
And told the nuns that washed me clean of all of my sins:
"I'd give my life to the lord Jesus Christ
Or maybe have a child
And then meet myself in the mirror again"

GnR>VR

I don't like Velvet Revolver. I'm just not "feeling" it. GnR was one of the first bands I really got into (them and White Zombie). Plus, I never liked STP either, so Weiland sort of annoys me.

Enough with Metallica. They have a handful of songs that have held up to the test of time. The rest of it is pretty much shit.

Seriously. Enter Sandman? It's a song about the fucking Boogeyman. Lyrically, that song is laughable.

Adding on to what I said, it's not just the lyrics, but they just haven't held up over time for me. Then again, a lot of those bands haven't. I still really like a handful of Metallica songs (Wherever I may Roam, Master of Puppets, Sanitarium, One (every once in awhile), etc.) But other songs like Enter Sandman, Nothing else Matters, ANy of their new stuff, I usually shut off right away. Same thing with other bands though. I can only listen to a handful of Pantera songs, etc.

I single out Enter Sandman as that seems to be the song everyone loves. It was really overplayed, and I have no desire to hear it anymore. It really seems like that song is directed at the youth, and I just grew out of it.

Even if Axl wasn't a douche, VnR is better because Axl is a terrible vocalist.

Appetite for Destruction is one of the all time great Rock Albums, even if you dislike Axl Rose (which I do.)

Pretty sick of hearing all GnR songs, so I'll go with VR.

lmao.

GNR >> VR.

Axl might be a cunt but GNR are still significantly better at this stage.

Would take a fair bit to change that assessment.
