Does anybody remember this WCW wrestler from the mid 90's?

what became of him after the demise of WCW?

Why didn't he ever get a title shot,as he was always winning on the NITRO shows that I watched

Johnny B Badd, as in Marc Mero?

Well, he quit altogether, but after he and Sable (Rena Mero) split in 2003, he made a short comeback in TNA as Johnny B Badd...it was very short lived though...his last TNA match was a pre-show match before Final Resolution 2005.

This year, he's had one match...in March I think for the World Wrestling legends.

I ALWAYS, ALWAYS liked Marc Mero. One of my favorites from WCW during his time period there. He left WCW in the mid-90's after various feuds with DDP, Arn Anderson, etc. and went to WWF with his wife Sable / Rena Mero, and then left WWF after the big Sablegate incident there.

As Impeccable said, he worked a bit with TNA, and did a handful of indies since then - but has MANY, MANY interests outside of the business that he stays busy with. Him and DDP still hang out and stuff, and sometimes you can catch pictures of the two on Page's site.
