Ortiz is going to walk through Shamrock. Hoping Arlovski tears Sylvia apart. I'm a fan of Burkman, and I'd like to see Yves Edwards do well.
Honestly haven't been this excited for a ppv in a while.

I feel bad for Shamrock..
F'n hate Ortiz..
I wish they'd let Liddell destroy him again..
Tim Sylvia Vs. Andrei Arlovski
- Arlovski in the first round.
Tito Ortiz Vs. Ken Shamrock
- Tito kills Kenny. First ever UFC casket match/Buried Alive.
Dan Christison Vs. Frank Mir
- As much as I call Mir the most overhyped and overrated fighter in UFC history, I think he'll take this.
Josh Burkman Vs. Josh Neer
- I like Burkman so him
Yves Edwards Vs. Joe Stevenson
- Edwards. Stevenson is a flash in the pan (and I bet now I said that, this will come back to haunt me).
Drew Fickett Vs. Kurt Pellegrino
- Heard of Pellegrino but never seen him fight and I rarely (since I have done it before) bet on guys who I have never seen fight. Plus I like Fickett forever for beating Josh Koscheck (a little notch below Frank Mir in my opinion).
Jeff Monson Vs. Anthony Perosh
- Monson
Gilbert Aldana Vs. Cheick Kongo
- Never seen Kongo fight but I like what I've read so I'll pick him.
Hermes Franca Vs. To be announced
- When it's announced, I'll be back to predict.
Tim Sylvia Vs. Andrei Arlovski - I'd like to see Arlovski win and he very well might. However I'll go with Sylvia because of his overall progression and size.
Tito Ortiz Vs. Ken Shamrock - Ortiz, easy. Shamrock's ego is going to cost him big time. As much as I dislike both of them rather equally, it would be nice to see Ken win ONLY to shock everyone. That's the only reason.
Dan Christison Vs. Frank Mir - Frank Mir. Unsure of his opponent right now, can't seem to place him. Mir looked good any of the times I've seen him.
Josh Burkman Vs. Josh Neer - Josh Neer. For the same reasons mentioned above.
Yves Edwards Vs. Joe Stevenson - Joe Stevenson. Again, for the reasons mentioned above. (my lack of knowledge is shinning through here)
Drew Fickett Vs. Kurt Pellegrino - ?
Jeff Monson Vs. Anthony Perosh - I quit predicting now. There just becoming guesses now.
Gilbert Aldana Vs. Cheick Kongo
Hermes Franca Vs. To be announced

I've never seen a UFC ppv but that seems like a lot of fights. I thought there was only 3-4 fights per PPV.

Tim Sylvia Vs. Andrei Arlovski
- Arlovski by ref stoppage in round 1
Tito Ortiz Vs. Ken Shamrock
- Tito by ref stoppage in round 3, massacre and amazing display of ground n pound by Tito
Dan Christison Vs. Frank Mir
- Mir by tap out in round 1, he needs to get back on track to become <s>fodder</s>a contender for Arlovski
Josh Burkman Vs. Josh Neer
- Burkman
Yves Edwards Vs. Joe Stevenson
- Yves, I'd love to see a kick like in UFC 49
Drew Fickett Vs. Kurt Pellegrino
- Coin toss for me, Pellegrino
Jeff Monson Vs. Anthony Perosh
- Monson, hes coming up
Gilbert Aldana Vs. Cheick Kongo
- Aldana...dunno
Hermes Franca Vs. To be announced
- ?

Since it's not "staged" like wrestling, they have no control over time.. Like in boxing, if 4 fights all end in the first round, you'd have alot of angery viewers who only got a fourth of the fighting they paid for.. They always have a big undercard too fill dead space, if any, at the end of the ppv.. They'll prolly start the PPV with Yves Edwards Vs. Joe Stevenson and show the undercard if nessasary..

I hope Arlovski wins, but for some reason I think Sylvia is gonna win. SO I'll predict a Sylvia win..Ortiz to knock out Kenny. And I hope Edwards can bounce back, I don't like Stevenson either.

And unlike with wrestling shows, I have NEVER been unhappy with a UFC show since Zuffa took over.
I'm positive Shamrock will get his ass handed to him and then leave the ring and go cash his paycheck.

I haven't been this amped for a fight/show in a long time. I've been amped for the past two weeks, lets go Tito
How can you get amped for that fight after what Ortiz did to him in the first fight? My god this fight shouldnt be happening. Ortiz shouldnt have to fight Shamrock. Its so obvious that Ortiz is going to kill this guy. So obvious that if he didnt kill this guy and Shamrock somehow wins this fight, i'd honestly question whether or not the fix is in to boost buy rates for a 3rd fight. Dare i say, a WWE style fued?
I'm not amped that much for this one. I'm curious what happens, cause i truely think if Shamrock wins, its fixed. Ortiz should murder this guy.
I'd rather see Iceman/ Ortiz.

Because we are hyped on the prospect of how badly Shamrock is getting wasted.
And I honestly hand on heart believe Chuck Liddell's days as light heavyweight champ are numbered.

Both guys were pretty cautious, didn't want to get KOed. Arlovski kinda faded in the later rounds, that or Sylvia caught onto his rhythm and threw accordingly.
Hmm if we're gunna make this TPWW MMA thing happen, we need someone like Savior to post these ppvs as fast as Savior posts shit wrestling ppv. IM o

Not that good a ppv. The mainevent was boring, and the Ortiz/Shamrock was stopped a tadbit early, but the elbows woulda kept comin and it woulda been stopped anyhow.
But Silva/Liddell!!!
Sucks for the Iceman btw.

That was a terrible stoppage. Kenny can take a lot more than that. Not saying he would have won, not saying he wouldn't have needed to stop it 5 or 6 punches later, but that was ridiculous.

I was really disappointed in the ppv. Mind you I went to a bar to watch it so I didn't pay anything. Had I bought it I'd be pissed. Tito destroyed Shamrock but to me, it looked like Shamrock was turning his head to start working to get up. Had the ref waited another 10 seconds I think Shamrock is on his feet or at least not taking elbows.
As for the main event can you say "Boring"? If I wanted to watch two guys box I'd go watch boxing. What a terrible main event. I thought the Belarus guy would try to take Sylvia down, but no, he decided to stand up all fight. Thank god I didn't spend 40 bucks on that shit.

In all seriousness, if Herb Dean gave it another 10 seconds, Tito could have killed Ken. It was probably an early stoppage but Ken took 5 hard elbows to the face and was in no position to defend himself.
Thank the lord for YouTube by the way.

Worst UFC PPV I've ever seen...
Silvia/Arlovski didn't go to the ground ONE TIME.. I watched in in fast forward on a DRV and it was still boring.. Frank Mir looked like shit.. The Neer/Burkman fight was aiight but nothing special.. Whole ppv could've been much better..
Where was Loiseau or St. Pierre or Forrest Griffin or Rich Franklin etc etc etc??
Horrible PPV..
I can't wait for Babalou/Liddell.. I really hope Chuck beats him, even though I like Babalou, just so Liddell can knock out Silva.. Now I know Silva is a bad ass, but I hate his little group of homosexuals who run out to massage his sweaty body after every match.. I also understand that he beat my boy Rampage twice and that Rampage beat Liddell but I'm still pulling for Chuck..
p.s. Waderlei was wearing a PRIDE shirt, does this mean the interpromotional trade is atually going to happen?? Dana White said that he has sent a few fightewrs over there (Chuck to fight Rampage) but PRIDE has never returned the favor.. Could we ever see a full Pride Vs UFC PPV??

Yea, pretty boring for the most part, but I was at a bar, so it was all good. I really just wanted to see Tito/Shamrock and you could tell everyone at the bar did too. Mostly Ortiz fans there. haha, Tito wasted him quickly and then was all "come on mother fucker" and laughing it up. lol, how could you not like him

You can't expect a ref to know everyone's limits and copmensate for them. He has to call the fight based on the safety of an average fighter. If it were any other fighters in there, nobody would be complaining about the decision. It was a good call IMO.
Also, I fucking hate Tim Sylvia, but I was glad to see him get the decision after that fight. AA did absolutely nothing to try and win the fight. Hell, neither man did. They should vacate the title after that shit, nobody deserves to be champion anymore.
Didn't agree with the Mir/Christison decision :-\

He didn't do anything to merrit a win.

And Frank Shamrock.
I have to say this was the worst PPV since that first show where Zuffa took over. Still, one bad show in about 30 isn't too shabby at all. The next show will rule.
And I had Arlovski winning by 1 round.

Kimo Makes it Personal, Reacting to Rutten’s Decision to Target Him For His Return
LOS ANGELES, May 30th, 2005 – Following months of public speculation regarding a potential comeback to the sport he once dominated, the World Fighting Alliance (WFA) today announced the return of mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar Bas Rutten. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion and 3 x King of Pancrase has officially signed to fight for the WFA and will make his return to the cage at WFA: King of the Streets on July 22nd at the Forum in Los Angeles against infamous Huntington Beach street-fighter Kimo in a bout that’s nothing short of personal.
After more than a six-year hiatus from competitive fighting, highlighted by work as a color commentator and network studio analyst for FOX Sport’s Pride fighting broadcasts and his involvement as a coach in the newly formed IFL, Rutten began to feel the competitive itch to get back in the cage. The recent announcements of the revitalized WFA, its impressive list of MMA stars and its first event at the Forum in Los Angeles on July 22nd provided Rutten the added motivation to make his comeback official.
“Speaking with WFA CEO Jeremy Lappen about his plans for the WFA and seeing the incredible fighters that are signing with the WFA had me very motivated about returning to the cage,” said Rutten. “I’ve managed to stay pretty close to “fighting shape” amidst my involvement with the IFL and my broadcasting work, and I’m confident that my skills will be sharp as ever when I face Kimo on July 22nd.”
Rutten will return to face a formidable opponent in Kimo, in a fight fueled by animosity, stemming from rumors over the past month of Rutten’s return and his specific decision to target Kimo as his first opponent fresh out of retirement. In an interview during a WFA production day in Los Angeles, Kimo was outspoken regarding his feelings about Rutten’s decision.
“I’ve helped this sport come from bare knuckles, no rules and no excuses to where it is today, and for this man to select me specifically as the target for his comeback is an insult to everything I’ve accomplished,” said Kimo. “This will be the shortest comeback of all time, and Bas will regret the day he chose me for his return to the cage.”
According to those present at the WFA production day, Kimo and Bas had a heated discussion away from the rest of the group. Both Bas and Kimo seemed noticeably upset throughout the afternoon and avoided being around each other for the remainder of the day.
“The day of the production shoot, I was pretty sure I wanted to return to fight for the WFA, but I had yet to make a final decision,” said Rutten. “Kimo’s comments and behavior certainly made that decision an easy one, providing me a whole new level of motivation.”
Rutten’s return to fight for the WFA is yet another in a recent series of announcements, reinforcing the WFA as a legitimate force to be reckoned with in MMA. The announcement comes on the heels of the WFA’s signing of MMA superstar Quinton “Rampage” Jackson – the man who destroyed reigning UFC Champion Chuck Liddell. The WFA also announced the WFA: King of the Streets on July 22nd at the Forum in Los Angeles, an event featuring arguably the greatest U.S. fight card ever assembled.
“A recent MMA fan poll showed that fans preferred our King of the Streets fight card over the UFC 60 card, and this was before we announced Bas’ return to fight Kimo,” said Lappen. “With this incredible fight and the incomparable fight card we’ve already announced, this will clearly be a historic evening for the sport of mixed martial arts.”
Tickets for “WFA: King of the Streets” at The Forum are available at all Southern California Ticket Master outlets (Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernadino and Ventura Counties), online at Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at (213) 480-3232, (714) 740-2000, (661) 322-2525 or (805) 583-8700. The event will also be shown live on pay-per-view television via iN Demand (additional details for satellite television pay-per-view to be announced).
