View Full Version : Fastest purchase and return of a game.

I set a personal best for myself. I bought Over G Fighters for the Xbox 360 this past wednesday afternoon and brought it back thursday morning. Maybe a little under 20 hours I've had it. Second fastest was Delta Force Black Hawk Down for the Xbox which I had for day and change.
Anybody else buy a game, played it, hate it, and brought it back really fast?

WWF Royal Rumble (DC)
A wrestling game on Dreamcast that was even more arcadier than the SmackDown! series it was spawned from. We played it and tried to like it... But the bare bones options and thin gameplay engine made us take it back in a day.

My fastest return was about 20 seconds, when I got out the shop, opened it up and noticed they gave me the wrong version of the game.
Fucking idiots.

Well, the fact that it was released as an Arcade release as well would explain that.

Well damn; ever heard of Console Exclusives? We were banking on that. Especially after Soul Calibur (maybe the greatest arcade-to-home conversion ever).
A lot of Dreamcast games were almost direct ports including the Crazy Taxi franchise.

I bought High Heat 2004 (Something like that) saying I needed a baseball game for xbox. Played it three times to make sure it sucked then I returned it.

Shenmue was great. I played Shenmue 2 and still holding on to it. Waiting, just waiting, for number 3 to come out.

Mine's like 5 minutes. I got on the bus, opened Burnout Revenge, and noticed some other stupid ass driving game was in it. I rang the bell, got off, and walked back. The end.

About 2 and a half hours.
I couldn't decide between High Heat and All Star Baseball, went with High Heat. Took it home, realised it sucked and was playing All Star about 3 hours later.
nhl 2k6 for 360. About 5 days. Terrible game.

Yes, 2007. 2K Sports were the ones that make 2k6 however. In which case, they too are making another in 2k7.

i bought it, thought it was 3d (back when i hated 2d) but when it was 2d i turned it off put it in its case and took it back.

PSP as a portable console is generally awful. It's a laundry list of bad ideas and okay ideas done better elsewhere.
