Hey I actually thought Smack Down was pretty good this week. I missed RAW for a 3rd time in a row so I can't compare to which one was better than the other.

What I did see was pretty good. Finally, the WWE got the titles off of those weird Bashams. Rikishi & Scotty new tag team champions, not really big news but the Bashams didn't really do anything for the titles and they look pretty green to me.

WOW! the Big Show put his US title on the line. Big Show vs Billy Gunn. You could see in this match that it seemed like these two were working the slow paced match Vinnie McMahon had preached about. And truthfully, I actually really enjoyed this match. It was even given about 10 minutes to wrestle and tell a story. It was pretty good in my opinion.

Lesnar-Guerrero promo was fantastic. Guerrero was on fire. His promo work was excellent and is by far one of the greatest in the business. Very emotional stuff there.

Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero...............Sr.
Set up the Rey-Chavo Jr. match at NWO well. I bet these two will light it up in the ring.

Angle vs Holly was another great match. The two chain wrestled for the beginning of the match and then just heated things up from there. If someone would have told me that Angle broke his neck twice last year, you would have never been able to tell, he was on fire. Hardcore Holly actually carried himself very well out there too. It was a great paced match and was given enough time in the ring to tell a story.

I agree completely. Scotty/Bashams I was kinda surprised about. But with the tag divsion right now, I guess someone had to get them, and they are the only face team. Well, over face team anyway.

Everything else I agree with. Big Show/Gunn surprised me for what it was. And Angle/Holly was pretty good too. Even if Angle carried Holly, which I think is only somewhat true here.

I missed the Rey/Chavo match, and the Rey music video (thankfully?)

But didn't the spoilers say Miller fought Tajiri? Did I miss this too, or was it completely edited out? ...or did I read incorrectly and it was on Velocity, not Smackdown?

I don't know why they made a commercial break. They only did it to trick people into thinking it was a long, crazy match.

But it was kinda boring till the end.

I never saw Rey's music video & I don't remember seeing any Miller V Tajiri match.

It was editted out. And for the better... one moment Tajiri is CW champ, and a few weeks later he's jobbing to THE CAT???

On a side note, some of the girls on the Rey music video were HOT.

I suppose there's one good thing to come out of the new Tag Champs of Scotty and Rikishi: WGTT, being a heel team, can finally get back into the tag title hunt.

Am I the only one who LIKED the belts on the Bashams? When Rikishi got the pin, I was so pissed.

Bashams weren't really too hot, IMO. Not to say Kish and Scotty are. But they are over with the fans and their tag team divisions are sort of crap. Someone else mentioned WGTT, I'd like to see that happen too. But honestly, I like Rikishi better in tag team action. Maybe this was Vince's idea of giving him some love for all the rumbles he's been in and never won. (Was another topic.)
