YES. I am looking forward to this movie so damn much. It should be incredible, if they keep the tone of the original comics and the new animated series. Throw in a bit of the original TMNT movie for good measure and I reckon they've got a winner on their hands.

Wow. Looks good. Is Ang Lee still in the director's seat?

Its gonna be hard to beat TMNT 1 and 2. But I'll see it for sure.

Ang Lee was never attached to the movie.

I cant' believe how bad three was.

They were actually going to make a 4 way back when and my friend was actually in it as a footsoldier or something. They ran out of funds and that was that.

Movie #1 was an awesome movie. I loved the scene when Raph takes on about 300 Footsoldiers. Also, Casey Jones was the man.

Strange events are occurring in New York City, and the Turtles are needed more than ever, but Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo have become lost and direction less. With the city at stake, it's up to Leonardo and Zen Master Splinter to restore unity and ninja discipline to the Turtles.

That's the plot summary from IMDB.com

Jones is in this movie too. Hopefully he kicks ass.

I remember a few years ago in the paper that I read a Turtles 4 was one the way. It ended up being that Ninja Turtles The Next Mutation crap. And that female turtle sucked imo.

Just watched the trailer and it looks really good. But I'm not gonna hold my breathe. IMO the Turtles time was over 15 years ago... every attempt at bringing them back into the mainstream has failed.

The Turtles cartoons you get now where Shredder isnt even in them hardly, and this kid hangs around with them is shit as cimpared to what we say in the late 80's and early 90's.

However, I must now check out this video.

Raphel: I told you to go right a 21st street!

Donatello: Sorry, sorry.

Not really amped for this at all.

The 90's show kicked ass (and I thought red sky was VERY much underrated, at least some of it was), the new show I nevere get the opportunity to watch, and I have no immediate attention to see this unless they try to make it appeal to an older crowd and try to stay true to the original comic.

I don't care if it's mainstream, so long as it's good.

I haven't watched them. I don't much watch cartoons anymore.

Or TV for that matter.

TNM was alright. They just tried too hard to make it like Power Rangers rather than what it really was. And I didn't have a problem with Venus (the female turtle).

From what I saw with the new series, it is more like the comic was in terms of the canon (the personalities of the Turtles stayed canon). The new series seems interesting.
