Right, so like the title says, post your top 10 Nintendo-made games.

NOTE: Shits like Megaman are not Nintendo games, they are 3rd party shits.

HOWEVER: Shits like Super Mario RPG (Nintendo/Square) and Donkey Kong Country (Nintendo/Rare) are ok because they are Nintendo collaborations.

So with that, my list:

1. Super Smash Bros Melee (GCN)
2. Super Mario RPG (SNES)
3. Starfox 64 (N64)
4. Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones (GBA)
5. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA)
6. Super Mario Bros/Duckhunt (NES)
7. Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
8. Super Mario Kart 64 (N64)
9. Super Mario World (SNES)
10. Paper Mario: 1000 Year Door (GCN)

There are like 5698756897 more games, but 10 is a good number.

Actually, all of those except Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Mario 64 and Zelda.

A couple of those I wasn't sure about, so I didn't bold them.

I'm not sure I can come up with a ton ten list myself. Too many games to pick from...

Perfect Dark and Goldeneye were developped by Rare, but when they were a second-party developpers. I guess they could technically count, since they are in the same situation that Smash Bros (HAL Lab) or Mario Golf (Camelot) would be.

Anyway, my top ten.

1: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
2: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GCN)
3: Super Mario Bros 3 (NES)
4: Super Mario 64 (N64)
5: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)
6: Super Mario World (SNES)
7: Super Mario RPG (SNES)
8: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (GCN)
9: Super Smash Bros Melee (GCN)
10: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (SNES)

So many more I wanted to name though.

Funky Fly

Yeah, you can use 2nd and 3rd party developers if they used Nintendo characters (ie. Donkey Kong Country being a Rare game with Nintendo characters).

It's not going to get any clearer than that.

IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

Super Mario Kart (SNES)
Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) [still perhaps one of the best SMB games of all time]
Legend Of Zelda: Octrania Of Time (N64)
Super Mario Advanced: SMB2 (GB Advance) [this was a pretty good remake of a very underrated entry]
Super Punch Out (SNES)
Zelda: Link To The Past (SNES)
Super Mario RPG (SNES)
Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
Earthbound (SNES)
Metroid Series (ANY NINTENDO SYSTEM)Seriously, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Metroid yet (the main reason I BOUGHT a 'Cube was to play Prime).

I'ma take a crack at it...

Tetris (GB)--I've never owned the original Tetris, but this was my number 1 Time Waster as a kid.
Star Fox 64 (N64)--Greatest N64 game barring No Mercy, but I can't use that, so...
Super Mario World(SNES) I liked it a little better than 3.
Super Mario 3 (NES)--'Nuff said
Legend of Zelda--Link's Awakening (GB)--For some reason, my fave Zelda game.
Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
Legend of Zelda--A Link to the Past (SNES) Second favorite.
Advance Wars: Dual Strike (NDS)--Would be higher if there were more dual screen battles that involved the air and land.
Duck Hunt (NES)--Stupid, but stupid fun.
Pokémon: The original verrsion (Red and Blue)

Because Nintendo didn't develop it.

To be fair, Meester Flyyyy, many people don't know that these franchises, which were long the domain of Nintendo exclusively, are neither Nintendo characters not created by Nintendo.

I mean, Castlevania is synonymous with Nintendo in many people's minds.

Now, some shit, like No Mercy, is inexcusable, but I think you can let the Belmont family slide.

I'm surprised to see no Kirby, myself. Not a big fan, but still.

I'll try to take a crack at this. I can never make an "all time" top 10 becuase I'll most likely miss a game, so here's a random-ish top ten.

In no order:

01. Super Mario Kart (SNES)
02. Super Mario World (SNES)
03. Mario Party (N64) [I can't pick one because each one was awesome. Only got to play one Game Cube Mario Party a couple times]
04. Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past (SNES)
05. Wario Ware: Mega Micro Games, Twisted, and Touched (GBA/DS) [I can't honestly pick just one of those and I don't want to take up three picks on my list]
06. Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
07. Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (DS) [Still need to work on Super Saga. Haven't played that in months]
08. Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)
09. River City Ransom (NES) [I don't know if this makes the list. I could check my cartridge, but I'm going to bed right after I post this, so fuck it. This game is awesome anyway]
10. Ice Hockey (NES)

I want to add more NES games to that list, but I'm not too sure if they'd be able to make it on the list.

Yeah, I understand that shits like Megaman and Castlevania were pretty much nintendo exclusives for a good while (Megaman was even on that Captain N cartoon), but it's not like Capcom and Konami, respectively didn't put their names on the game carts or on the opening screens of the games.

Nah. I beat the first Metroid, and got about halfway through Super Metroid before being bored. Metroid games just don't attract me in particular. Kinda like Star Fox, but I still find it more enjoyable because of the multiplayer modes.

Try Prime, Fusion, or Zero Mission. Those are the key games in the franchise.

Super is not for everyone. Experts can point you to some of the key ways to take advantage of what they give you (it was the glitchiest one of all). But yeah, Super is like Kingdom Hearts II. You'll want the first parts over as fast as possible, because the rest of it makes up for that first part.

I'm curious how far you got before you gave up, though.

For that I would have to go and look again. All I remember is that I had that X-Ray scanner thing, which might not say much.

Metroid was hard? :?:

Depends.

If you want to get 100% in the game in under 2 hours so you can see the hot piece of pixilated ass that is Samus Aran (and in the case of the later Metroid games, a extended story ending), then yeah, it can get tough.

I've been reading that Prime 2 Echos was that REALLY FREAKING HARD type difficulty. I ordered it off of Amazon for 14 bucks and it's currently being shipped to me. Should be here soon, so I'll get back to you.

If you just want to complete the game without worry about speed runs or getting absolutly EVERYTHING there is to get in the game (and knowing Metroid, there are many pickups, including missles out the ASS), then it could be easy.

You were pretty into the game, then (to the point where you either had to get the Gravity Suit to go into Miranda, or was in the process of getting it), since you had to use the grappling beam to get the X-Ray Visor, and you get the beam in Norfair (that is, unless you're lying and are really one of those true Metroid GODS that can do that horizonal bomb jump that's possible in SM and did that to get the visor).

The next thing you have to do is to go back to Crateria and blow open a door via a Power Bomb (it's yellow, so it requires a PB), and use the grappeling beam to get to the wrecked ship on the other side of that big water pool.

Oh, I'm that far into the game?

Might give it a run then, just to brag about beating Super Metroid. I'd have to explore the world a bit though, since I would be REALLY lost.

What ending do you get for completing the game in about a decade?
