Paul London & Brian Kendrick (c) vs. Kid Kash & Jamie Noble

They locked up again, and Kash grabbed a headlock, then took down London with a shoulderblock. They locked up again, and Kash grabbed a headlock again, then hit another shoulderlock. Kash threw some punches and headbutts, then hiptossed London. London tried to land on his feet, but fell. He jumped up and hit a punch, then a dropsault, then a slingshot headscissors. London tagged in Kendrick and threw him Rocket Launcher-style onto a standing Kash. Kendrick applied an armbar, but Kash headbutted out and tagged in Noble. Noble hit some shots to the gut as Kash held Kendrick, then rammed him into the buckles. Kendrick came back with a windmill bodypress and tagged in London, who hit a mulekick off the ropes onto Noble's back. Kendrick tagged right back in and hit a top rope elbow. London tagged back in and did the same, all targeting Noble's arm.

Noble yanked London into the turnbuckles to reverse the momentum, but London came right back, tagging Kendrick for a double hiptoss. Kash ran in and got the same. The champions dropkicked the challengers to the floor, then hit stereo topes on them on the outside. In the ring, London slammed Noble and Kendrick went to the top rope, but Kash hooked his leg. Noble slammed Kendrick off the top rope for a two count, then hit a series of kicks to the back. Kash tagged in for a double shoulderblock on Kendrick. Kash picked up Kendrick by the hair and slammed him down to the mat. Kash worked over Kendrick's face, rubbing his forearm across it. Kendrick came back with a headscissors out of the corner. Noble tagged in, but missed Kendrick on a jump and crotched himself on the ropes. London got the hot tag and gave Noble and Kash flapjacks. London was backdropped to the apron by Noble. Kash tried to pull him down, but London kicked him away. London was skinning the cat back into the ring when Noble dropkicked him, sending him down to the floor.
Kendrick helped London up and rolled him back into the ring, where Noble stomped him, and dropped an elbow for a two count. Noble applied a reverse chinlock, then hit a leg lariat when London broke free. Kash tagged in and stomped London in the back while Noble had his leg trapped. Kash stood on his throat, London crawled towards his corner, but Kash pulled him back. Noble tagged in, and they double chopped London down for a two count. London fought out from a corner, but Kash tripped him. London kicked Kash into Noble, knocking Noble off the apron. London went for the tag, but Noble got Kendrick off the apron. London finally flipped over a Kash suplex attempt and made the hot tag to Kendrick, who cleaned house with forearms, elbows and clotheslines. Kendrick kicked Noble from the ring, then kicked Kash in the face for a two count.
Kendrick gave Kash a rana, but Noble broke it up. Noble went for a Tiger Driver, Kendrick blocked it, so Noble hit some knees to the head and went for it again. London gave Noble a leg lariat to knock him to the floor. Kendrick hit Noble with a dive from the top rope to the floor. In the ring, Kash went for a brainbuster on London, but London blocked it. Kendrick came off the top rope with a sunset flip on Kash. Kash wouldn't go down, so London hit him with a dropsault, finishing off the sunset flip and allowing Kendrick to get the pin at the 14-minute mark.

Winners: Paul London & Brian Kendrick.

Backstage, Great Khali was screaming for the Undertaker. Daivari was trying to calm him down, saying they would have the match later, and there was no need to call him out now. Khali lifted Daivari into the air as they cut away.
Theodore R. Long came to the ring and announced that due to elevated enzymes in his liver, Bobby Lashley could not compete tonight. Lashley came out, dressed in his wrestling gear. Long gave him the mic and asked him if wanted to say something. Lashley said that "with all due respect to you and the doctors" he didn't think there was anything wrong with him. Lashley said he came to fight and get his title back. The fans chanted "Let him fight". Long said he wanted Lashley to fight, but that he owed it to him and the fans to look at the "long term view" of his health. Long said when Lashley is medically cleared, he would have a chance at the U.S. Title. The fans booed. Long said it was "the doctor's orders" and that he was sorry. Lashley walked off without saying a word. As he headed up the aisle, Fit Finlay and William Regal walked out together. They walked past Lashley on opposite sides, grinning. Lashley continued his walk to the back.
Long asked Finlay and Regal what they were doing there. Finlay mocked Lashley's condition, saying he was just afraid of the competition. Finlay told Long to declare him the winner via forfeit. Long refused, and told Regal and Finlay they had a match tonight, against each other, whether they liked it or not. Long ordered the match to begin right now.

U.S. Championship
Fit Finlay (c) vs. William Regal
Regal checked under the ring for the Leprachan. Regal and Finlay talked, and decided to walk out. As they did so, Finlay cradled Regal from behind and tried to pin him. Regal kicked out and punched Finlay in the face. They then argued and decided to wrestle. They locked up and went to the mat, then rolled to the floor, then went up the steps, then back into the ring, never breaking off the lockup. They finally broke in a corner, and Regal slapped Finlay. Regal grabbed a single leg takedown and applied an ankle lock. Finlay headspinned out of it, sending Regal to the mat. They locked up again, and Finlay grabbed a side headlock. Regal shoved him to the ropes, but Finlay scored with a shoulderblock. Regal sidestepped a charging Finlay and sent him over the top rope to the floor. Regal went after him and hit an uppercut.
The Leprachan came out from under the ring and grabbed at Regal's leg, then hit him with a shillelagh. He chased Regal around the ring, ducked under it, came out the other side, and scared Regal. He then went back under the ring as Regal rolled back in. Finlay took over, hitting an uppercut. The two men exchanged big uppercuts back and forth. Finlay poked Regal in the eye and cradled him for a two count. They exchanged some more blows, then Regal hit a double underhook suplex for a two count. The Leprachan came up from inside the ring apron and bit Regal's fingers. Finlay then went to work on Regal's fingers, but Regal came back with kneelifts and a drop toe hold. Regal kicked Finlay down and applied a crossface.
Finlay kicked Regal in the face to break free. Finlay hit a double thrust chop and a short clothesline. Finlay hit a sit drop on Regal, then pulled him chest first across the ring apron, slamming him down on it. Finlay then rammed Regal back first into the ring apron. Finlay snapmared Regal and put him in a chinlock. The fans aren't reacting much, probably because they're both heels. They collided heads on a Regal charge, and both went down. Regal stomped Finlay and stood ont he side of his face. Regal choked Finlay with his boot while arguing with the referee, then hit a kneedrop for a series of covers and two counts. Regal hit Finlay with a forearm, then dropkicked him for a two count.
Regal hit an exploder suplex and then delivered a kneedrop for a two count. Regal tossed Finlay to the floor. Fans chanted "boring". Regal rammed Finlay into the ringpost. Cole acknowledged the chant, saying the fans wanted Lashley in the match. Regal jumped off the apron at Finlay, but Finlay pulled the ring apron out and crotched Regal with it. Finlay hit Regal with some forearms, then rolled him into the ring. Regal's boot was off (presumably pulled off by the Leprechaun). Finlay stomped on Regal's sock covered foot and punched him to the mat. Regal dodged a Finlay charge and Finlay went shoulder first into the ringpost. Regal went for the shillelagh, but the referee took it away. The Leprechaun popped out and handed Finlay Regal's boot. Finlay hit Regal with the boot and got the pin with his feet on the ropes for leverage at the 13-minute mark.

Winner: Fit Finlay.

Post-match, the Leprechaun came out and grabbed the U.S. Title belt, but Finlay shoved him back under the ring.

Backstage, Rey Mysterio was getting ready for his match. Chavo Guerrero came in and told Rey that he was family, and his last name might as well be Guerrero. Chavo said Rey's fans, Eddie's fans and the Guerrero family were all proud of him. Chavo said Eddie's dream was to regain the title, so in a way, Rey was living out Eddie's dream. Chavo told Rey he was there tonight to make sure "dreams do come true". The two hugged.

Cruiserweight Championship
Gregory Helms(c) vs. Matt Hardy

The Cruiserweight Title was not announced as being on the line. Huge pop for Matt Hardy's entrance, which wasn't surprising since it has been twenty minutes since a babyface was in the ring. They locked up, but Gregory broke clean in the corner. They locked up again, and Hardy grabbed an armdrag. Matt hit a hiptoss and a side mare takedown. Helms leapfrogged Matt, and Hardy did the old Hurricane pose and yelled "What's Up Wit Day?" Matt clotheslined Helms to the floor and hit a pescado on him. Hardy rolled Helms into the ring for a two count. Hardy rolled up Helms for another two count. Helms went to the ring apron, where he grabbed Hardy and pulled him throat first across the top rope. Helms hit a neckbreaker for a two count and choked him against the middle rope. Helms hit a neckbreaker for another two, then went to a trapped arm chinlock, then switched to a front facelock. Helms broke out with a chinbuster, but Helms downed him with a clothesine for a two count.
Helms went back to the chinlock, and kicked Hardy when he broke out. Helms came off the middle rope at Hardy, but Hardy hit him in the gut, then hit a Russian legsweep for a two count. Matt went for the Side Effect, but Helms reversed it into a crucifix for a two count. Helms went to the top rope, but Hardy stopped him. Hardy went for a superplex, but Helms crotched him on the top rope. They fought it out on the ropes and Helms came down with a top rope swinging neckbreaker on Hardy. Helms crawled onto Hardy, but Hardy got his foot on the bottom rope. Helms pulled him away from the ropes, but Hardy kicked out. Helms snapmared Hardy and dropped an elbow for a two count. Helms applied a double underhook and kneed Hardy in the head. Hardy shoved Helms into a corner to break it up, and then the two exchanged punches. Hardy got the better of it and hit a back elbow, then delivered the Side Effect for a two count.
Hardy hit a clothesline in the corner and followed with a bulldog for a two count. Hardy went for a slam, but Helms floated over into reverse DDT position, Hardy countered into Twist Of Fate position, but Helms reversed it back again and hit a neckbreaker variation. Helms went for a Shining Wizard, Hardy ducked it and went for a rollup, but Helms shrugged it off and hit the Shining Wizard for a two count. The fans chanted "Hardy". Helms went for a back superplex, but Hardy elbowed him off, then hit a moonsault on a standing Helms for a two count. Matt hit a second rope elbow to the head of Helms for a two count. Hardy went for some punches in the corner, but Helms got under him and dropped him face first on the top turnbuckle. Helms then cradled Hardy and hooked the tights for the pin at the twelve minute mark.

Backstage, Daivari was trying to convince Khali not to go after the Undertaker, saying the Punjabi Prison match was next. Khali walked off, and Daivari noticed a shadow on the wall. The Undertaker walked out and threw Daivari to the side. Undertaker yelled at Khali "You looking for me?". As they two approached each other, the Big Show ran out and attacked Taker. Show beat down the Undertaker, and Khali kicked Taker in the head. Referees and Theodore R. Long separated them as Show and Khali congratulated each other on a job well done.

A video on the events leading to the Punjabi Prison match were shown.
Backstage, Daivari was celebrating with Khali and Show when they were confronted by Theodore R. Long. Long told them that Smackdown was his jurisdiction, and he just changed the Punjabi Prison match, saying Big Show now had to wrestle The Undertaker in it. Show complained that he didn't know what a Punjabi Prison match.

Undertaker vs. Big Show - Punjabi Prison Match.

The ECW Title is not on the line. The Punjabi Prison was two bamboo cages, one around the ring and one around most of the ringside area. Michael Cole announced the rules. There were four doors on the cage around the ring. Those doors would be opened by referees, when requested, for 60 seconds. The cage around the ring also has some sort of straps on the corners, and also has spikes across the top. The outer cage has no doors and also has spikes on it. To win the match, you have to escape both cages.
Big Show came out first, and climbed the inner cage to examine the spikes. Undertaker then made his usual entrance. Big Show looked worried and nervous about the match. Show was practically in tears as Undertaker got into the ring. Show attacked Taker immediately, stomping him down on the ring apron and hitting some headbutts. Show elbowed Taker and punched him in the corner. The fans chanted for the Undertaker. They exchanged punches, with Taker getting the better of it. Show came back with an elbow to the cut, then rammed him headfirst into the top turnbuckle. Show elbowed Taker against the bamboo cage. Show whipped Taker across the ring, but Taker came back with kicks to the leg, then chopblocked him. Show was kneeling in the ring, and Taker gave him a kick to the face.
Taker climbed up the bamboo cage and tried to push the spikes out of the way. Big Show reached up and crotched Taker within the bamboo rungs of the cage. Show grabbed one of the straps on the cage and choked the Undertaker with it. Back on the mat, Show rammed Taker into a corner and kicked him in the face. Show hit a clothesline, then delivered an elbowdrop and a kick to the gut. Taker battled back with a right hand and a back elbow. Taker kicked Show in the gut and threw a right hand. Taker rammed the back of Show's head into the bamboo. Show, trapped between the bamboo and the ropes, was given several bodyblocks by Taker, until Show grabbed Taker by the throat. Show stepped into the ring, and went for the chokeslam, but Taker reversed it into a DDT.
Taker called for a door, and it was opened, but Show pulled Taker away from it. It was explained that once the minute was up, the door would be closed and would not be opened again. Show worked over Taker, and the time ran out, so the door was closed and locked. Three doors left. Show pulled down a strap and choked Taker with it. Show went to work on pulling off a turnbuckle pad, finally pulling it off to the side. However, this gave Taker time to recover. Undertaker hit some punches, and delivered his flying clothesline. Undertaker went for the Old School ropewalk, but Show yanked him down to the mat. Big Show called for a door, and slowly went to leave, but Taker kicked him in the head and he ducked through the ropes. Taker tried to crawl out, but Show grabbed his leg. Taker kicked Show with his free leg. Show and Taker traded punches, and Show grabbed Undertaker with a chokeslam. Show hit the move and crawled for the open door, but the minute was up and they closed and locked the door.
Two doors left. Show complained to the referee about the door being closed on him. Show kicked Undertaker in the head, then rammed him into the exposed turnbuckle. Undertaker was busted open. Show headbutted Undertaker over and over. There was a "Big Show sucks" chant. Show continued to headbutt Taker, and hten punched him in his bloody forehead. Big Show climbed to the top rope for some reason. Undertaker stopped Big Show with a low blow. Undertaker climbed onto the second rope and superplexed Big Show. Undertaker called for a door and crawled out of the first cage. Undertaker slowly got up on the floor as the minute finished up and the door closed. Undertaker started to climb the cage. Big Show got up, had them open the last door, and escaped the first cage.
Big Show climbed up the outer cage with Taker and knocked him down. Show set up a table against the outer cage and threw him through it. Show, realizing the door for the first cage was still open, tossed Taker back into the ring. The final seconds ticked off, and the fourth door was closed. Undertaker was now padlocked inside the first cage. Show climbed the outer cage, while Taker climbed the inside cage. Taker made it to the top quickly, then crossed over to the second cage. Taker and Show were near each other, and Taker used a rope that was attached to the second cage to swing into Show, sending both men down to the floor. Show leaned on a table at ringside, and Taker legdropped Show through it face first. Show was now busted open. They brawled around ringside, and Taker started ramming Show into the bamboo cage.
Great Khali and Daivari walked down through the crowd and began climbing up the far wall of the second cage. Taker climbed the outside wall of the first cage. Taker jumped onto Big Show with a bodypress. Show caught him, slowly fell back, and the walls of the second cage (VERY easily) swung open. Show fell down with Taker rolling off of him. The referees declared Taker the winner at the 23-minute mark, although technically, Show went through the wall first, and hit the ground first.

Winner: The Undertaker.

Khali and Daivari were only halfway up the outer cage. A bloody Show let out a cry from ringside. Undertaker made a throat-slashing gesture, rolled his eyes back, and left.
Backstage, Sharmell told King Booker that he would become King Of The World tonight. Booker liked the sound of it.

Kristal Marshall vs. Jillian Hall vs. Ashley Massaro vs. Michelle McCool - Four Way Bra & Panties Match.

Kristal wore a loose T-Shirt and a skirt. Michelle wore a blouse that was already open to the navel and a short skirt. Don't these two know what the rules are in this match? Jillian wore spandex pants and a spandex top. Ashley wore a mesh belly shirt and a short skirt.
Jillian tackled Michelle and Ashley tackled Kristal to start the match. Kristal kicked Ashley in the face. Michelle tried to run away, but Jillian stopped her. Kristal pulled off Ashley's top. Kristal celebrated and Ashley hit her from behind and shoved her to the floor. Michelle got into the ring and gave Ashley a nasty backbreaker. Jillian gave Michelle a Thesz press. Michelle went to slam Jillian, but Jillian floated over it and hit some knees. Jillian slammed Michelle and went for a moonsault, but Kristal crotched her on the top rope. Kristal dragged Ashley to the floor. Jillian was in the Tree of Woe, and Michelle pulled her top off. Ashley and Kristal brawled on the floor, while Michelle whipped Jillian across the ring and stomped her. Michelle and Kristal tried to whip Ashley and Jillian together, but they got reversed. Jillian and Ashley pulled off Michelle and Kristal's skirts. Michelle had a second skirt on. Michelle went after Kristal, while Jillian and Ashley watched. Wow, the crowd got quiet.
Michelle got dumped on the floor. Kristal went after Ashley, while Jillian shaked her breasts around. Jillian gave Kristal the Breast Smother, then held her legs while Ashley pulled off Kristal's top. Since Kristal was the first one stripped down to braw and panties, and Ashley was the one who pulled off the last article of clothing, Ashley was declared the winner at the six minute mark.

Winner: Ashley.

Ashley pulled off Jillian's pants and Jillian pulled off Ashley's skirt in celebration.

The Miz interviewed Ken Kennedy, who said he would defeat Batista tonight. Ken Kennedy said Mark Henry may not have been able to beat Batista, but he would.

Batista vs. Ken Kennedy

Batista came out first, to a big pop. As he made his entrance, they showed footage of Mark Henry's X-Rays and surgery. Ken Kennedy came out and as he gestured for the microphone, Batista attacked him. Batista rammed him into the turnbuckles and worked him over in a corner. Kennedy poked him in the eyes, but Batista came right back, whipped Kennedy into a corner. Kennedy went to the floor to regroup, and Batista went after him. Batista rammed Kennedy into the security wall, then the ring apron, then the ring steps. Batista rolled Kennedy into the ring. Kennedy was busted open. Kennedy fired off some punches, but Batista pounded him down and stomped him in a corner. Batista hit a clothesline, and Kennedy rolled to the floor again. Kennedy was bleeding heavily from the head. Kennedy complained about the referee not doing his job and said he was leaving. He started to walk off, then ran back in when Batista turned away. Batista turned back around and speared Kennedy. They fought to the ring apron, where Kennedy tried a charge and Batista side stepped him, sending Kennedy to the floor.
On the outside, Kennedy bit Batista's head. Kennedy got back into the ring and as Batista entered, Kennedy shoved the referee in front of him, then kicked Batista in the head. Kennedy choked Batista and hit a short arm clothesline, then mounted him and hit some punches. Batista shoved him off. Kennedy punched and kicked Batista in a corner, then kicked him in the face. Kennedy kicked Batista in the back of the head from the floor, stretching him across the ring apron. Kennedy worked over Batista on the floor, throwing him shoulder first into the ring steps.
Kennedy sent Batista back into the ring and applied an overhead wristlock. Batista slowly fought up, and Kennedy started throwing punches, punctuating it with a slap. Batista grabbed Kennedy by the throat and tossed him in a corner. Kennedy went for a boot to the face, but Batista caught it and rammed him back into the corner again. Batista threw Kennedy shoulder first into the ringpost three times in a row, then stomped him down in a corner. Batista stood on Kennedy's throat in a corner, choking him down. The referee warned him to stop, but Batista ignored him, then shoved him away. The referee disqualified Batista at the eight minute mark.

Winner via disqualification: Ken Kennedy

Batista gave Kennedy three spinebusters and a Batista Bomb, then stood over the downed Kennedy.

Rey Mysterio vs King Booker

A video package of the events leading to the main event were shown.

World Heavyweight Championship
Rey Mysterio vs. King Booker T with Queen Sharmell

Booker and Sharmell entered on a motorized throne car, and took a long time with his entrance. Rey got a big pop for his entrance. They did ring announcements after the entrances, like a boxing title fight (or a UFC or TNA fight). Booker trash talked Rey before the bell, saying "Eddie can't help you". Booker took his time taking off his robe, crown and ring.
They locked up at the bell, and Booker broke clean in the corner. They locked up again, and Booker went for a punch in the corner, but Rey ducked away. Booker smiled. They went for a lock up again, and Booker kicked Rey to the mat and stomped him. Booker hit some chops in the corner, but Rey finally ducked one and hit some forearms. Rey snap mared Booker and hit a powerdrive legdrop for a two count. Rey smiled at Booker as Booker got up in a corner. They went to lockup again, as an "Eddie" chant started. Booker bodyslammed Rey and hit a back elbow. Booker applied a hammerlock, but Rey elbowed Booker and snap mared out. Rey hit a dropkick to a seated Booker for a two count.
Booker reversed a whip, but Rey caught him with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Booker thumbed Rey in the eye and unloaded with punches and shoulderblocks in the corner. Booker missed a charge and went shoulder first into the ringpost, then fell to the floor. Rey went to the top rope and hit a senton on Booker on the floor. Back in the ring, Rey hit a springboard splash to the back for a two count. Rey kicked Booker in the chest and went for a Quebrada, but Booker ducked it and hit a side kick for a two count. Booker delivered a short arm clothesline, then a second for a two count. Booker choked Rey against the bottom rope, and Sharmell raked Rey's eyes.
Booker delivered a back kick for a two count, then applied an overhead wristlock. There was another "Eddie" chant. Booker switched to a hammerlock, and Rey went to snap mare out of it again, but Booker threw him off, sending Rey crashing to the mat. Booker suplexed Rey and turned it into the Three Amigos, hitting three vertical suplexes in a row. Booker mocked the Eddie Guerrero dance, then covered Rey for a two count. Booker set up fore the ax kick, but Rey moved out of the way, then hit a series of kicks to Booker's legs. Rey tripped Booker into the ropes and went for the 619, but Booker ducked it. Rey kicked Booker in the back of the head instead and covered him for a two count.
Rey went for the 619 again, but Sharmell tripped Rey. Referee Nick Patrick ordered Sharmell away from ringside. Sharmell left under protest, and the crowd popped for it. Booker complained then went back to Rey, whipping him into the ropes. Rey hit a kick to the chest, then went for a bodyscissors into a bulldog, but Booker stopped it with a back suplex for a two count. Booker went to the second rope and jumped into the feet of Rey Mysterio. Mysterio dropkicked Booker's leg out from under him. Rey hit some punches and gave Booker a rana. Booker reversed a whip, but Rey ducked a clothesline and hit a springboard bodypress for a two count.
Rey caught Booker with a tornado DDT for another two count. Rey went for a headscissors out of a corner, but Booker blocked it and threw Rey into referee Nick Patrick, knocking him to the floor. Booker ran into a kick by Rey, and Mysterio hit a springboard senton on Booker. Rey hit the 619, and delivered a frog splash, but the referee was napping on the floor. Rey went looking for the referee, and Booker hit him with a low blow. Booker gave Rey a Bookend, then went to the floor and got a steel chair. Booker missed Rey with it, and Rey dropkicked the chair into Booker T.
Chavo Guerrero ran out, picked up the chair, and blasted Rey Mysterio with it. Booker looked confused. Chavo stared at Rey from the floor. Booker covered Rey, hooking both legs. The referee slowly crawled into the ring and delivered one of the longest three counts I can remember, finally finishing at the 17-minute mark of the match.

Winner and NEW World Champion: Booker T.

Chavo Guerrero walked off. Booker cried in the ring, holding the World Title belt, as Sharmell put his crown on his head. Sharmell began the "All Hail King Booker" as the announcers reviewed Chavo's chairshot on Rey. JBL kept saying "You cannot trust a Guerrero". Booker's victory celebration continued for several minutes and the PPV came to a close.

Curious about the Batista/Kennedy situation now myself, have no idea why that match ended via DQ. It woukd have made sense yeah, if Kennedy was still undefeated but he isnt now so the point?

The Batista Bomb looked a wee-bit sloppy as well, but i guess ring-rust has set in somewhat, hopefully that will sort itself out in a few week.

The Undertaker/Show match had the ideals for a great match - and it did, but the ending was absolutely shite, didnt end how i expected it too - Which now means we're going to have even more Khali/Taker promo's for a few weeks.

Was behind Booker anyway to win, so its going to get interesting for Summerslam - However again its pointing at who IS the #1 contender at Summerslam now. Rey/Chavo will be an interesting addition...

I think Batista/Booker T. will happen at SummerSlam when Kennedy and Bats have a rematch on SmackDown! for the UNDISPUTED #1 contership spot.

Hope fully they have a rematch at Summer slam so booker gets to keep the title for more then 30 days (since smack down is really batistas show)

Too bad it'll only last for four weeks.

1) He's BLACK! Since when does Vince have a BLACK main eventer be a creditable champ? And The Rock wasn't BLACK.

2) Anyone can predict that the only reason who Book got the title is so he can be a transitional champ for them to put the title back onto Batista.

The point is that FINALLY they turned Chavo. Thank fucking christ. Smackdown may be actually watchable now. I like the way they did the Kennedy/Batista match. Now if they keep the belt off of Rey for the remainder of his Career, that would be grrrreattttt.

Agreed. Though the tag team title match stole the show I think. I'm pleased that London and Kendrick retained their titles, that really surprised me.

I watched it last night, and it wasn't horrible, but about on par with a usual SmackDown ppv. Glad to finally see Booker as champion. Punjabi match was alright, but I'll bet a pain for the crowd to watch as they could barely see through the structure. Tag title match was one of the best matches of the night. And even though I didn't want to see Kennedy get squashed, they probably used it to test him to see if he is ready for the main event.

Londoner
07-24-2006, 01:10 PM
Kennedy didn't really get squashed though as it was a DQ finish, i don't really count that as a squash match as he still walks away as the winner. I like the way they pulled that segment off, now its time for a Batista/ Booker feud I think.

Oh btw regal/finlay was fucking awful to watch, i was thinking ' what the hell? Who am I supposed to cheer for? They should've put Matt Hardy in this match'.

Tommy Gunn
07-24-2006, 04:03 PM
I thought it was mediocre, but that's down to the 3 main matches being reworked.

I enjoyed the tag match, thought Regal and Finlay was actually good old school wrestling and was glad Lashley was out of the picture, hated the diva shit and fast forwarded through it as I taped it over night, loved Mr Kennedy not jobbing to that useless prick Batista, got very annoyed at WWE's shitty way of getting Khali out of his match, and thought the title match was alright but nothing special.

Sorry if that's a bit hard to read :D

Batista is shit, he has no personality whatsoever. He's just another big man who terrorises mid carders.

Man of the night: Mr Kennedy, and I didn't even like him much before the GAB. This guy has a PERSONALITY and can go far.
