Sylvester Turkay apparantly was the first person to defeat Kurt Angle (in Pro Wrestling) or something. Probably wrong though.

Here's a little info on Turkay:
A former NCAA Division I National Champion in the Heavyweight Division for North Carolina State, Turkay has crossed paths with Kurt Angle before on a collegiate level. In the 1995 NCAA championships, Sylvester came in second, losing to Angle via points, 2-1. The match was covered heavily by Sports Illustrated at the time and was a pivotal moment in Angle's wrestling career as he was heavily outweighed by Turkay.
In his 2001 autobiography It's True! It's True!, Angle described Turkay as a, "275 mountain of muscle. He had seventy-eight pins during his college career. During the tournament he pinned every opponent in an average of just over a minute. Basically, he went in, tied 'em up and pinned 'em. This guy was an animal." Angle described his win over Turkay as, "a match people in amateur wrestling still talk about; the day David beat Goliath."
After training under Rick Bassman's UPW school in California, Turkay was signed to a WWE developmental deal, but later released after spending time in Ohio Valley Wrestling. He ended up in ZERO-ONE in 2001 where he was christened Predator and patterned after the late, legendary Bruiser Brody, right down to carrying a signature chain everywhere. During his ZERO-ONE tenure, Turkay also fought in several MMA bouts.
For those curious, Turkay and Angle did wrestle one professional wrestling match on an Ohio Valley Wrestling event several years back.

ROFL, so the who ended the undefated streak of Kennedy, who now has two wins over Batista, ends up jobbing to a new guy (in impressive looking new guy, to be sure, but still).
Seriously, I think RVD was forced to give his stash to the writers or something.

The guy who is being forced to take a month off puts over a new guy before he leaves.....makes quite a bit of sense to me

(That was mostly to complain about Hardy beating Kennedy in the first place.)

Matt Hardy is being taken off the road, so havimg him lose makes about as much sense as Angle jobbing out to Orton at Vengeance. Hopefully Sylvester Turkay gets over. I would have loved to have seen a feud with Chris Jericho. I would have marked out for Jericho calling him "You Sly Turkey, you". :(
Damn, they seem to have given Elijah (Burke [I heard they're making him drop his last name]) a non-wrestling role. I had this gimmick envisioned for him on RAW, where they'd show videos of him playing the piano in some kind of empty theatre, cutting away to his legit toughman accomplishments, as well as his OVW title reigns. Basically have him play a well-cultured badass. Maybe they'll have Turkay and Burke team-up? Paul London & Brian Kendrick don't exactly have legions lined up to face them.

Legions of tag teams? No.
Legions of potential liver problems? Yes.
