There making a 2nd Bean movie called "French Bean".

The basic plot is...(I'll black it out to be safe, some people can be picky)

"Mr. Bean travels to the South of France, and unexpectedly gets his video diary entered into the Cannes Film Festival."

Rowan Atkinson says this will be the last Mr. Bean story. They started filming on 15th of May this year and it should be out in Britain on the 30th of March 2007 and the US on the 23rd of march 2007.

Anyone think it'll be good?

I'm a huge Bean fan, and while the first movie wasn't up to par on the original show, I still loved it. From what I've read, this movie will be closer to the original series than the first movie was.

Either way, Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean = :y:

lol

Bean was pretty good, his speach on the painting was brilliant. This could be interesting, just hope it doesn't turn out shit.

There also making a ChuckleVision movie :shifty: which the director to the first Bean movie decided to make rather than Bean 2.

If RA's involved, it'll doubtless be decent at least, but I don't know after that last movie.

The series should probably die, but maybe it'll go out on a high note (Or, at least, higher than BEAN)

I honestly don't see what people hate about the Bean movie... Sure, the series was always much better, but I really liked the film. Bean 2 should be good.

And Chucklevision? How old are those guys now? Surely this can't be true...?

Kids tv show with the Chuckle Brothers, Paul and Barry. Its been going on for 20+ years and there both in there 60's now and still filming the show regularly and touring.
They had two catchphrases. One would say "To me..." and the other would say "To you..." and repeat that as they carried something upstairs or whatever then when they dropped the thing one would say "Oh dear..." and the other would say "Oh dear, oh dear." It's aimed at around 7 and under but alot of older people still watch it.

It sounds like and looks like a gayer, less-diverse version of The Wiggles.

Not really. As far as I'm aware the wiggles just tells kids how to count and read etc, right? The chuckle brothers do sort of slap stick stuff I guess. Episodes have stories etc.

It will be called Mr. Bean Goes On Holiday for those of you outside of the UK.

You're Welsh!?

I thought you lived in American. Like, Miami or Detroit or something.

Well did you know The Magic Roundabout movie was renamed "Sprung!" in America just because they never heard of the origonal show?

Lol. Why did you think that?

That's up there with the guy (can't remember who) that was convinced I was black because of Carl off the Simpsons.

Yeah that was me :$
You think you got it bad with the Carl thing? Everyone swears I act like Homer and that I'll end up looking like him. They even say we scream a like. I'm not that dumb, honest.

I guess it was your avatar, I assumed it was you and it had an American look to it.

Homer: Bart's teachers name is "Crabapple"!? I've been calling her "Crandle" ! Oh, I've been making and idiot out of myself!

Haha Bean. Paramount comedy channel have recently started showing the original shows again, simple yet hilarious stuff. Most probably because it's Atkinson, I don't think anyone else could pull off the Bean character just as good.

I never got around to seeing it. A lot of people said it was bad and a few said it was just ok. So I don't really think I'm missed out on anything.

One of the only films I've turned off halfway through because I simply couldn't stand watching anymore.

And I enjoyed the TV series, and thought the first movie was okay, so it's not even as though I've always hated it and it was to be expected. Piss poor.

I liked it. Wasn't as good as the first though, but still good for a few giggles.
