The Pokémon franchise will be holding its tenth anniversary party at Bryant Park in New York City on August 8, 2006 and Hulk Hogan will be hosting the event. Also, according to joystiq.com, there may be musical acts during the “partaayy”, with Brooke Hogan possibly performing.


At the event, little Hulkamaniacs and Pokémon fans will be able to watch the pros get busy with it in a Pokémon XD tournament on the GameCube. They will also be able to download characters and be the first in the "country to play upcoming Pokémon video games."


The event takes place in New York City, at Bryant Park, on August 8th from 10am to 5pm. If any of you guys happen to live in the area and manage to attend, we’d love to see a picture of Hulk Hogan playing Pokémon. If you snap one, send it in! Also, you can check out the official Pokémon site here.

HULKACHU - The old wrestler pokemon

Description: This pokemon has the power over your battle. However, he is old and you should beat him easily.

Attacks:
1. Finger point - Successfull attack will result in opponet being scared for some odd reason.
2. Hulking up - Hulkachu will gather strength from hulkamanics within a 1/2 mile radius.
3. Voodoo Child - Successfull attack will result in Jimi Hendrix coming back from the dead, playing Voodoo child, and make you go crazy.
4. Leg Drop - Successfull attack will result in the ending of the battle and further proving nobody can get up from the Leg Drop.

Location: This pokemon has been scene in the vacinity of the southern florida area. Also has been seen on television promoting energy drinks and a grill.

Note: He travels with a younger clone of himself, an attractive daughter with a tracking chip implanted, and a female mate with an obsession with animals.

Approach with caution.

Pokemon-specific TMs/HMs:
Finger Poke of Doom - If used to open the battle, your opponent's Pokemon will admit defeat. May only be used 5 times during battle.

Suntan in a Can - When used in battle, your Pokemon will spray itself with Tanning Spray and will begin to glow Orange. The resulting barrier will deflect all incoming attacks. When used outside of battle, you will appear to grow Orange and will start to go bald. Extended use will cause permanent and complete baldness.
