I'm guessing Angle will put him over. Any predictions?

We all know who is going to put CM Punk over...

That's not just the coolest.
Than's not just the greatest.
My friends, that's, Justa Jobber!

Why not over the Big Show?

Punk will be coming in as a face...so I'd say he'll feud with the Vampire first.

I say Stevie Richards or CW Anderson

He'll prolly get a clean win over one of the ECW jobbers. To have Angle put him over on a regular show is sorta weird.

Is it confirmed that Punk will be a face? If not, a feud with The Sandman would just make too much sense.

Punk and Fertig The Vampire had some dark matches at the ECW House Shows a while back, and usually if they do some house show matches it's because they are testing out how well they work together and potential finishes. So I am gonna agree with KoOS and say he goes over blood sucker.

I seriously doubt they will put Angle and Punk in a match on Tuesday just because it's Angle's come back and it's Punk's debut...maybe if you teamed Angle and Punk together, but that would make no sense. Yeah I am sticking with my Vampire theory.

Well Sandman is feuding with Knox, which looks like it'll be evolved into a Dreamer/Sandman vs. Knox/Test feud.

Punk has been working as a face at house shows.

They need a strong face, I could see him feuding with a heel Angle by the end of the summer.

It'd make very little sense to put him over Fertig so early into the Vampire's ECW career. It'd mean nothing, as opposed to letting the Vampire dominating a couple of more cruiserweights and then losing

No, we're talking about Punk's first real feud in ECW.

Punk's first match on Tuesday will be against Stevie Richards.

His promos are introducing him as a face, so after he faces Stevie probably, he can work with Mordefang.

With the whole "Dedication" think they're running with Punk, a huge feud with Angle would make sense. I'd say basically have Punk destroy someone on his debut... Likewise, have Angle destroy someone on his return, and right after that, have Punk confront him, saying since neither of them have had real challenged tonight, why not they go at it...

Heyman stops it.

Over the weeks, have them battle, with Angle usually getting the upperhand. Or Maybe have Angle win the first, Punk pull out the second, and in the tie breaker, Angle snap and destroy Punk with a chair. Feud on....

And of course, once Punk wins the title, have him become a major prick. (Ranting about how his lifestyle got him where he is, and how the fans will never be remotely close to him because of the lives they lead, etc.)

Punk could definatly be a hateable character.

Basically just let him be what he was in ROH.

But that would never happen.

Hell, I already hate him just for how much everybody here loves him.

Also, straight edge people are usually assholes anyway.

No, ABT's right. Straight edge guys are assholes, and if I spoke to CM Punk for more than five minutes I'd probably have to punch him in the face.

Fortunately, that will never happen, and I'll continue to be a lazy douche and watch him be awesome on my TV.

Any idea on what he's going to use as a finish? I know he won't(read: can't) use the Plunge and I know he's been using the Anaconda Vice as a finish at the house shows, but the "creative'' minds do have a tendency to change finishers if they don't like them.

Is the WWE going to make you change your finisher, since a variation of the move is used by Triple H?

Yeah, they want me to beat people via count out ala the BERZERKER. Or maybe it was the anaconda vice...I forget.

I was just kidding about the hating him part, and as far as the straight edge part, I'm not saying he's not possibly a nice guy. I'm saying that a straight edge heel could probably work really well.

Punk v Angle at Summerslam?? That could be a money match.

Y2Jeremy
07-30-2006, 04:47 PM
I love the anaconda vice, but I remember hearing that HHH and HBK were down on him because all of his money moves are stolen from japan or variations of american wrestlers moves(the HHH diver\pepsi plunge). I think that heel is the only way to go with a straight edge guy. There is usually an "im better than you mentality" involved.
