This isn't exactly a "bump", but when I was entering MSG for WrestleMania 20, there's an elevator to the right which goes to the arena for handicapped people. It stopped on the floor for a second, opened up, and Rey Mysterio (maskless) was there. I think I was the only one to notice him, but he then got into the corner until the door closed again.

Nah, probably the closest I came was last Tuesday. We were all standing outside Joe Louis Arena waiting to go inside when The Sandman just appeared out of nowhere walking around the building. No security or anything.

Well to sum it up...early 2001 after a Smackdown taping, I came to a stop light and I saw people swarming the car next to me. I looked over and it was KURT FREAKIN' ANGLE! He was on his cell phone and these morons were going to his car and trying to take pictures of him. Well thinking quick, I saw a limo nearby so I yelled out "Holy crap it's The Rock!!!" And the people ran over to the limo, which was fun because The Rock was away filming the Scorpion King at this time so any sensible person would know that he wasn't there.

Well the fans scattered away from Angle and he looked over at me, gave me a laugh and a wave as the light turned green.

I felt justified and rewarded.

Back before this years WM, I was working as Asst. Manager in the Gamestop at Pentagon City Mall. It's a big tourism mall, for whatever reason. But, a Ritz Carlton is actually attached to the mall, and this evidently is where a lot of visiting sports teams and such stay.

Well, I'm working one day, pretty much minding my own business. Then I turn to say something to one of my co-workers. He kind of stares at me and nods his head to the side. I looked around, thinking maybe my DM or something came into the store. I turned back to him and he did it again and I realized he was pointing out the customer that he was helping. I looked at the customer, it was Mr. fucking Kennedy. I felt like a 12 year old school girl.

I couldn't believe it was him, so I asked him if he was, in fact, Mr. Kennedy. He said, "Yeah that's me." And immediately went to shake my hand. Told him my name was Josh, asked him what he was doing in town. He finished his business (bought a couple of PSP games) and then I asked him for an autograph. Then we talked for a couple of minutes about WM and when he was going to come back. He actually said it would probably be 2-3 weeks after WM, not sure what happened there.

I was in such shock that I didn't even see how he signed his name. He actually wrote "Mr. Kennedy... Kennedy" at the bottom.

I've met a couple other wrestlers, but I think Mr. Kennedy and Balls Mahoney were the coolest. Meaning, they actually took the time to talk to me about things. I talked to Mahoney for a good 20+ minutes at a small show for MCW (Maryland Championship Wrestling). After everything we talked about, he was like "I gotta go get ready for my match". I said "ok, man, well I'll be watching the PPV tomorrow" (Living Dangerously '99). To which he said, "Yeah... who am I wrestling tomorrow?" I told him I had no idea because I knew Axl was still out of action. And he said "Yeah, well, I guess I'll find out when I get there tomorrow."

I just always thought it was funny that he asked me who he was wrestling the next day.
