What is it?

Also, I suck at Megaman anyways.

Complete redesign of the game using rom hacking tools.

New graphics and such. MAD HARD.

Also, use the fceultra emulator. Works best with that.

k, so it wasn't as hard as i had originally implied. But I am a megaman god, so you will probably still be embarrassed.

Maybe not RDD.

How do I do this now.

Download the fceUltra nes emulator. Then download the megaman 2 rom.

Download the Lunar ips patching utility.

The Lunar patching utility is very user-friendly, so if you can't figure it out from there, then you are retarded, and I'm not helping you any further.

Well I wouldn't have expected him to make a video of it.

I have played every Mega Man game, and I have never fucking beaten any of them.

Fignuts
08-12-2006, 01:13 AM
You will not even beat one robot boss in this, then.

Haven't had much time to play with this, but I beat bubble man. Will try to beat it sooner or later.

So yea, I actually got to sit down and play this some more. It's actually really f'ng easy. No disappearing blocks, no crazy ass 1-hit-kill beams in quick man's stage, no need to use the item 1-3 in any of the first 8 levels. Actually, no need for anything other than Metal Man. I think I only had to use 1 continue the whole time (no I'm not using save states mid-level). I'm up to the first Wily level now and only died bc I fell off the block where the dragon chases you.

Fignuts

Yeah, it really seemed harder at first, cause of all the shit they throw at you in the metalman stage. And yeah, when I eventually got to quick man and Heatman I was like wtf?

Still its a fun little rearranging of the game. If you are a megaman fan it is still fun.

Zophars domain has a shitload of similar hacks though. Gonna try and find a real badass one.

Yeah, bumping this with the excitement of megaman 9. Plus some people may not of seen it.

Thats where you want to go. They have hacks for all the nes megaman games, as well as a lot of other series.

That should be all I have to post, to get you to check it out.

VirtuaNES is the greatest NES emulator ever so I refuse to use anything but that. I rule at Mega Man 2 though and I want to take up this challenge.

If you want a challenge, play the Mega man 2 Ultra hack. It's probably the best hack there is for mm 2. All new graphics, levels, music, and even boss fifght patterns. The title screen even has an 8-bit version of the cartoon theme song.

This one is pretty cool too. Made a level out of the setting of the intro and title screen.

Very interesting that they used the sprites from MM2, but then used remixed versions of MM3 music for those levels.

I may give those a shot soon. I've been able to beat the first Megaman (which is pretty hard, actually), so this should be a good challenge.

U-Warrior

K, so that megaman paradise thing isn't a hacked rom. It's a game made from the bottom up with game maker pro.

Holy shit is it hard tho. Can't imagine what that fight against needle man and spark man is gonna be like.
