With the Wii having downloadable games from every nes and sega era, and with xbox live getting all kinds of old school games as well, I think it is safe to say that we will see a crackdown on emulation and rom sites in the coming years.

Which sucks, because I've just discovered rom hacking and all the crazy shit you can do with it.

Classics like zelda and metroid are must haves. There is a hack which extends Super Metroid by an hour and a half. You need the (JU) version of the rom, which I can't fucking find. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Right now I'm playing a Streets of Rage 2 rom a lot. I love it.

make sure you get Smash TV; hours of fun and if you actually get it for SNES and play 2 player with a friend then it is 1,000x better
