Why is Randy Savage not considered a great in wrestling ,when he is of the same calibre that Hogan is?

Because Hogan didn't release a rap album...yet.

A lot of people consider him a great in wrestling, just for some reason he isn't talked about too much.

Didn't Savage become bipolar in the late 90s / early 00s? Maybe that had something to do with it. I mean, there's only room for a few wacko legends: Hogan, Flair.

In terms of being a WWE entertainer yes. Wrestling is a dirty word within the WWE.

Savage was actually an outstanding wrestler earlier in his career. Wrestlemania III against Ricky Steamboat is one of the most cited examples.
