A few months ago, someone pitched a Scientology angle and/or gimmick for MNM. The angle never took place due to the group's sudden split.

So...Ace, or Vince?

I would have loved the lawsuit actually. The Scientology people are retarded and think they can sue anyone who parodies them. Vince is retarded and thinks he can beat anyone who sues him.

Either way, it'd be a fun battle, and Vince would drive it into the ground on TV, and it would be one thing I would actually love to see just because Vince is such a dick.

Tom Cruise would threaten UPN.

And UPN would wonder why Tom Cruise is threatening them when they don't exist anymore.

Rawr. Tom Cruise joke.

Jaton

Actually, now that I think about it..I could see that working. With the whole paparazzi celebrity gimmick, it's one giant Tom Cruise/Isaac Hayes joke waiting to happen.

D-X vs. Scientology

And that's a role that Shawn COULD passionately play.

Yeah, because for some reason, playing a rebel is wrong, but attacking someone for their beliefs is okay. :D

It's basic Christianity principles. Duh.

Kane Knight

Indeed, O'Neill.

I mean, it wouldn't be Christian to fly in the face of authority for your beliefs, or stand up to oppression or persecution.

But kicking someone's ass for having a different belief/skin colour/hairstyle? OH, IT'S ON, BIYATCH.

Come to think of it, isn't McMahonism just Scientology without the mothership?

Jaton
08-12-2006, 03:30 PM
I was thinking McMahonism was similar to those fucktard "Satanists" who actually believe they're worshipping the Christian devil.

:nono:

I would tell you the theological principles of McMahonism if you ask nicely instead of slanderous comparisons to fake religions.

I'd rather blindly hate.

Basic Christian principle.

Kane Knight

I'd rather believe in science. Science and religion are mutually exclusive, you know.

Jaton
08-12-2006, 03:57 PM
So is the KKK.

Kane Knight
08-12-2006, 04:03 PM
I don't know. The KKK believes in science (The science of burning churches and pipe bombing buildings) AND relgion (primarily, destroying it, but they have their hypocritical little faith).

Jaton
08-12-2006, 04:08 PM
But they're exclusive! You don't get to join by merit, no fuck that. You have to be born a certain way to be awesome enough to join.

The scientology gimmick would've fit MNM perfectly.

MNM is associated with celebrity (storyline wise), so why not have them pratice what the many celebrities follow. Scientology or Kabala each would've worked, but scientology would make for a funnier gimmick.
