I say yay.

I don't know, he reminds me too much of Gene Snitsky. Not that it's Snitsky's fault.

Anybody Thrilla

Is that good or bad?

Kane Knight

Why is there no "I have not seen enough of him to decide?"

Aside from agreeing with the "You can't wrestle" chants, and thinking his storyline is retarded, I don't overtly have anything against him.

Anybody Thrilla
08-13-2006, 02:54 PM
Because I have no respect for the fence sitters. Make a decision, bitch.

It's not exactly "good".

Anybody Thrilla

Also, "Yay, nay, or I haven't seen enough of him to decide" doesn't really roll of the tongue.

Anybody Thrilla

He's not a bad wrestler, I don't think. Excuse me, he's not a bad brawler.

Nay cause he is super weird looking

Kane Knight

Finbe. Nay. I'm not going to approve of some worthless fuck in a gay storyline and with no wrestling skills. I could watch Smackdown for that.

He the first wrestler I have legit hated in quite a while.

Can't back you on this one, Abt

Kane Knight

He still hasn't made me want to turn off my TV though. Unlike every time Punk speaks. I suppose that's what makes him such a natural heel.

I'm not looking for backing. I just wanted to see how you guys felt about Mike Knox.

Yay. The guy is solid brawler, which means the Internet crowd will most likely say "he can't wrestle." But brawling has always been the MOST profitable form of American professional wrestling so I have no complaints there. The jealous boyfriend angle is an easy way for him to get heat but I don't mind so much, baby face vale (sp?) willingly on a heels shoulder is always entertaining (Savage/Elizabeth.) His demeanor and mannerisms remind me alot of Shane Douglas, and that a good thing. So thumbs up at this point.

Anybody Thrilla
08-13-2006, 04:45 PM
Yeah, I don't see why people seem to think brawling is so shitty. It always looks the most believeable to me. Would it be better if he did fourteen backflips into a clothesline or something?

Yeah I don't know. Brawling is grounded in reality people can identify with it. Everyone knows what it feels like to be punched. Why the smarks gravitate only technical wrestlers (or think that its the only form of wrestling and everything else is.. I dunno... hop-scotch?) I'll never know. They guy can wrestle, just not the form that the Dave Meltz... I mean smarks respect.

Nay, I say. Really haven't seen the show lately. All I know is that this guy is hooked up with some hot chick named Kelly, who can't strip for shit. Once I get my scheduling issues straightened out, I will make a future judgement.

Stone Cold had some great matches after his surgery despite 90% brawling.

I'm Southern (from GA), so I'll bet you know my stance on the Brawlers.

If you don't, here it is. If The X Division had a straight up brawler (I don't mean Joe, I mean a BRAWLER.), it could only help. Wrestling is like a buffet (just ask Viscera... :shifty: ). You have the dishes that some are gonna like and others will hate. You can't realistically have a card with nothing but Garbage Wrestlers. Or Nothing but Aerialists. Or Nothing but Technical Gods. You got to have something for everyone. What do I know, though?

As for Knox, I'll give him the Benefit of the Doubt.

Even Austin could bring more to the table than just brawling, even after his injury.

From everything I've heard, the guy is one of the better big men out there. Apparently, Paul Heyman requested him for the new ECW himself. Knowing the WWE, The Outlaw hasn't shown even a tenth of his real potential.

With Heyman getting a little more control over ECW, now, I think we may see Knox handled in the way that Heyman had envisioned. Right now, I'm saying "yay", because the guy seems to have a lot of potential. Hopefully Knox and Heyman convert some "naysayers" over the next few weeks.

Maybe they could have him play a "Sci-Fi" character? Mike Knox's initials are "MK", which are also the initials for "Mortal Kombat". Could Knox being trying to take over our realm? Almost definately.

Shao Knox

If they have Joey Styles scream "Toasty!" whenever someone does something really sweet in one of Knox's matches, and screams "FATTAAALLLITY!!!!!!!!!!" everytime Knox hits his finishing move, Shao Knox will be my favourite wrestler.

Yay. Even though he's not hallf the wrestler Douglas was, he still reminds me of him which is always a good thing. Now, if he had Shane's mic skills it'd be very yay.
