Apparently a pyro went off on the ceiling and they had to cut away from the arena, fill time with promos while they evacuated the arena and put the fire out.

42 minutes in, and only one match done. A great start.

Joey Styles: DAMMIT! THOSE PYROS DON'T BELONG IN WRESTLING!!!

Imagine if this was an ECW audience.
Vince would have sent out the low-carders for a battle royal.

I love TNA. An entire PPV of nothing happening but a fire.

Despite the fire and the evacuation, it was an awesome show.

The triple threat falls count anywhere match stole the show and was an awesome brawl.

Other highlights included the 3-way X-Division Title match, the NWA Tag Title match between Styles & Daniels vs. LAX, a pretty good underdog match between Spike... er, "Runt" and Abyss, and the heel turn from Christian Cage at the end gets me excited for the inevitable Sting vs. Christian feud.

Not that anyone here cares.

A note: After the fire, everyone was forced to evacuate the building for a bit, leading to Mike Tenay and Don West broadcasting from outside. Monty Brown then proceded to cut when of the funniest (ina bad way) improvised promos I've ever seen.

Why is Jarrett still champ?

Why is Jarrett still champ?

Because no titles changed at this PPV. Besides Christian's heel turn and Joe still being fucking over-rated. Nothing changed but the celing of the "Impact! Zone"

Eric Young got a HUGE pop.

Incidentally (I missed the Devine/Young match), I heard Showtime won with a wheelbarrow into a neckbreaker. If so....

Some of the TNA fans sang "the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire". Proof that at least 5% of them aren't idiots.

HAHAHAHA, I wonder if TWC will show that part of the PPV where they fucked up the pyro next Sunday? Bit pissed about JJ winning AGAIN. But i'm used to it now so i don't care that much anymore.
