I wonder if Vince will look to Orton to try and kill DX.He is the legend killer and DX is legendary, PLus there are rumors of HHH feuding with Orton in the near future.

So I predict at SS after Orton is done defeating Hogan he will show up in he DX vs Mcmahons match and put Michaels out of commision since Shawn is suppose to take some time off. This will lead to a HHH vs Orton feud.Shawn will make his return at the Royal Rumble in his home town and help HHH win the rumble setting up HHH vs Orton at WM for the title.Yes I predict Orton will win the WWE title in the near future and his feud with HHH will last 6 or 7 months.

Hmmm - so you've pretty much figured out the WWE's storylines for the next year. Aren't you special.

Well you know HHH will want the Title back sooner or later. But Personally I would want HBK to have one more title run.

It'd be better if none of those guys ever held the title again.

Yeah, Orton should never have a tgitle shot again. Nothing like a champion who is of a younger generation, has a following, and gets strong reactions to kill the program.

I still think despite they threw Orton/Cena 1 away on the Guerrero Tribute Show...with no hype...anyway I still think the two of them could be the best fued in the future.

I'd agree with the sarcasm if you scratched Orton's name and replaced it with Carlito. Or Nitro should he step up his game. But Orton? Meh? He should be nowhere near the WWE Title until 2008-9.

2008? Why, that's far enough away to count as never!

 I was only condemning the notion that it would be better if none of them ever got near the title again.

Anyway, Carlito and Nitro, too soon. I know it's the trendy thing to do to want your favorite guy in the world title scene the second you start to like him, but I'd hold off on both.

Though my proposed idea of a main event scene for Carlito after Trish sides with Edge still stands. I just think he should be kept free of the main event strap for a while still.

I wasn't saying that either one are ready today. I'd say wait a year or two for them, but give them feuds to make it look like they belong in the Main Event.

Of the two, Carlito is actually closer to belonging in the Main Event. Nitro needs to work on some mic skills before he's there.

I am actually with you. As for 2008, I say that because Randy needs to prove he can work a match without relying on 30 restholds (wasn't he allegedly working on Cardio during his suspension?), and he needs to get to the point where he can do a promo where he doesn't sound excessively wooden (case in point: WM XXII, he got out-promoed by Batista. Batista. The guy who is NOT known as a Promo-God.). I'm offerring him enough time to develop in those regards, and to do some soul searching.

Is it me or has Orton not been nearly as good since his Intercontinental Title reign? He was freaken awesome back then - and that feud with Foley really got him over.

Doesn't a couple of years and 2008 lineup though? I mean, why substitute one for the other when they both seem to be similar timeframe?

*pauses for a moment.*

Now would probably be a good time to mention that, Since 3 pm Saturday (EST), I've been operating on about 3 hours sleep. Sorry if I seem to be regressing into Stupid N00B state.

I suppose that it's inevitable that Orton will hold the title again. Their roster isn't deep enough for it not to happen. I just can't get behind the guy. He bores me to death, and I generally end up changing the channel when he comes on.

I still think that the best feud for DX after Summerslam is Triple H & Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton & Shelton Benjamin. That would kick so much ass.

Johnny Nitro needs a lot of work in the mid-card, and should probably float around the IC and Women's Title scenes (helping Melina pick up victories) for a little while. A feud with Joey Mercury would kick so much ass.

I LOVE the idea of Carlito being betrayed by Trish Stratus. Here's how I envision it:

Edge vs. Carlito in a Non-Title Match goes to Carlito, as Lita and Trish brawl at ringside, causing a distraction which allows John Cena to hit the F-U on Edge, which Carlito follows up on with a moonsault, or something, for the pin.

The next week, Carlito gets a WWE Title shot against Edge. Trish and Lita cause a distraction at ringside, again, which is when Carlito has the match won after a Backcracker. Carlito yells at Trish and Lita, commanding them to stop it, but then turns right into a Spear. Edge retains the WWE Championship.

The third week has Edge vs. Carlito in a Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship, to hopefully prevent any kind of Trish/Lita related distractions. Carlito does some crazy stuff, Edge does some crazy stuff, and Carlito is about to win the match when Trish slams the cage door on Carlito's head, which allows Edge to escape and again retain the WWE Championship against Carlito.

This leads to Carlito challenging Edge to another match at Unforgiven. Edge accepts, but refuses to put the title on the line. John Cena faces Umaga or something in a contender's match earlier on. Carlito says it's fine if Edge doesn't defend the WWE Title against him, he just wants the stipulation to be that if Carlito wins, Trish Stratus and Lita become his slaves. Edge agrees.

At Unforgiven, Carlito picks up the clean win over Edge, and Trish and Lita are forced to be Carlito's slaves. The fans may be inclined to cheer for Edge in the match, seeing as he is from Toronto and all, but if Carlito cuts a promo earlier in the evening and lists some of the things a man would do to Trish Stratus if he had the opportunity, he will be the biggest babyface of the evening.

The next night on RAW, Carlito comes out alone and says that he did what any rational male would do in the situation. He fucked them then fired them. Carlito puts his name into the hat as a possible candidate to face Edge at Cyber Sunday for the WWE Championship. Assuming Carlito is over like rover and his owner by this stage, Carlito would likely get the fans votes, and would face Edge at the October PPV, and win the WWE Title.

It seems early for Carlito, but he's done everything he can in the mid-card, and he has headlined before. It's better than Edge vs. John Cena, again.

So yeah, post-Summerslam feuds that I would love to see happen:

-Edge vs. Carlito for the WWE Championship

-DX vs. Randy Orton & Shelton Benjamin

-Johnny Nitro vs. Joey Mercury

Since your viewing habits determine ratings, I'll concede.
