Kahli didn't look terrible in that match. I guess kudos to Candido for that.

That powerbomb was sick. When he got thrown off the top I thought he was going down to the floor.

And he was using the Undertakers style of pinning there as well

Khali looks a lot more muscular there than he does now.
Hmmmm.....

wtf... props to Candido, but Khali still displayed more skill there than in any WWE show. I mean, for one, those chops look a lot better than a stupid war chop to the head.

If they gave Khali some better opponents he could put on better matches. Sure he'd need to be mostly carried, but he's not there for his wrestling skill. His look is enough to create interest, so you just need to put him against someone who can hide his weaknesses.
Taker is not the man to do that.

You'd think he would be. After all, he does have 16 years experience of facing big, uncoordinated, talentless "monsters" who had the "look" that generates interest.
Kamala, Giant Gonzalez, Berzerker, Nailz, Mr Hughes, Yokozuna, Fake Undertaker, Kane (back when he was pretty poor in the ring), Mabel, King Kong Bundy, Kama.... the list goes on.... and on... and on....
Surely he must have picked up SOME tips by now???

I love the video comments. Here's one about Undertaker.

...but he's become a regular person as of late riding a motorcycle to the ring? wtf is that?

Candido went out his way and totally put his body on the line to make Khali look good there. I guess this shows how excellent Candido was rather than how decent Khali can be.

A human bump machine like Candido can make any crappy two-move wrestler look good.
The Proof: Curt Hennig, Rick Rude, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, even Steve Austin before the neck injury....

I think they should turn The Great Khali face. He just seems more likeable when he's being himself. It's a lot easier to make money out of an unstoppable guy we are meant to like than an unstoppable guy who we are meant to hate.
The Great Khali should be working with guys who can bump, no doubt, but he can really improve as a big man wrestler by working with guys like Finlay and William Regal in the US Title scene. Have him turn on Daivari, beat him on SmackDown!, then go on to feud with King Booker and his Court, maybe even getting a short reign with the US Title.

I don't know. A guy Khali's size would have to have a really strong heel to feud with, otherwise he wouldn't work as a face. There's no drama in cheering an 8 ft monster who's almost guaranteed to win. Therefore, the fans would have to REALLY hate his opponent, just to get a reaction from them.
