I get a WB and a UPN out of Boston, and I'm wondering if anyone knows much about the restructuring of the networks into one? I ask primarily because UPN 38 actually comes in clear, and usefull reliably, and whatever the WB affiliate is often does not. Keep in mind, also, that I am in Vermont, so for the few of you in Boston to tell me otherwise is pointless, by the time it's relayed up here it's crap.
Anyway, have they made any definitive statements on how multiple affiliates within the same market would be handled?

One becomes the CW, the other becomes something else.
I know here in DC, WB 50 becomes the CW while UPN becomes My Network 20.
I believe that in most parts of the country CW will be taking over the WB networks and UPN will be turned into some other channel, in NY, like DC, it's going to be "My Network 9".

It varies market-by-market. Detroit's UPN affiliate is becoming CW, and I have no idea what's happening to WB.

Yeah, I already noticed they are calling WB, My TV 20, or something like that.

I am lucky. My UPN is becoming CW and my WB is unknown at this time.

It's official for Boston, WSBK (the current UPN affiliate) is losing Smackdown to whatever the WB affiliate is called. I can't remember what WB is on in Boston, nor do I care. I know WSBK only because I watched so much stuff off it when I was a kid.

I'm pretty sure they'll give him a reasonable push, maybe even feud him with an established ECW name. He'd probably be in contention for a mid-card title if they ever get around to it.
We are talking about CW Anderson, right?

This has nothing to do with anything (except MAG brought up Anderson) but I heard there are plans to release Chris W in the near future due to his not impressing management. I have to admit the match with Punk did not go well for him. He isn't anywhere near the Enforcer he once was.

No, it's cause people will get him confused with CM Punk and the CW Network. Duh!

To clear this up, I believe all WB affiliates are becoming the CW and the UPN affiliates are becoming My Network.

Not here. The current UPN network has already started using The CW logo and shit. The local WB network is just WB. I don't watch it except for 3am airings of COPS.

Does it happen to say "Coming in three weeks" (or maybe 'two weeks' by now) next to the CW logo?? That's what is shown on my current WB station, and the current (crappy quality) UPN channel is going to start showing classic TV shows. Apparently, they are going to be a part of RTN; the Retro Television Network. How I wish they would find a way to show classic WWF/WWE shows....but I know WWE 24/7 has that wrapped up already.

Weird. Mine's doing what everyone else's is.

Well the CW is getting programming from both the WB and UPN, and MyNetwork is something completely different....
On a related note the UPN affiliate here (WTSN 63 Evansville, Indiana) is already started using promo stuff for MyNetwork TV.

My UPN station already has changed their logo and everything to The CW. It has the UPN logo and the local network logo of TheCW55 on bottom. I dunno. I hardly watch The WB except for syndicated shows like COPS and Simpsons.
