So they saved Edge from the water...

Now, I don't safety procedures or anything like that, but is it REALLY necessary to have guys decked out in SCUBA gear save someone right next to a pier?

If you were gonna be bashed in the head eleven times before dumped in the lake, you'd want pros to haul you out.

lol. Picturing Edge acting like Little John when he fell off the bridge in Robin Hood: Men in Tights.

Bridgeport Harbor is so polluted, I hope Edge didn't have any needles or used condoms on him when he got pulled out.

Why? Any diseases he might catch would probably just cancel out.... well, you see where I'm going with this.

Good thing I checked before posting this.

It cracks me up they'd post EXCLUSIVE FOOTAGE of this, though. As though somehow we thought Edge would really die.

Which is hilarious when you consider, after Paul Bearer "died," WWE demanded that news be retracted, partially on the grounds he'd be shown to be all right.

...And never was...

What I found funny wasn't that he needed rescuing, but the fact that he was actually treading water while being "rescued".

this smells like a toned down version of Rock 'throwing' Austin over the bridge

:n:

Wow he got thrown off a pier 1 foot above sea level

Speaking of the Rock/Austin incident, I KNOW there was another incident where someone threw someone else's title off a bridge AFTER Rock and Austin did it (each did it once).

Anyone know what I'm thinking about here?

Kurt Angle did somethine like that with Austin when WWE was re-creating past angles for this feud (remember Kurt Angle, the milkman).
