Didn't see this anywhere:

Partial Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

-- There is an advertisement for a fitness product website floating around the internet saying that you can “get ripped like John Cena”. The website is not endorsed by Cena or WWE as far as we can tell.

-- WWE writers Dave Lagana and Ed Koskey were both big fans of ECW before the company closed down in 2001.

-- Heyman is pushing for WWE to bring in Masato Tanaka for ECW as much as possible. Right now a full-time slot is not an option due to Tanaka’s commitments to Zero-One in Japan.
=============

That would be sweetness. ATM having Tanaka in ECW wouldn't help. there isn't alot of room in ECW, again, ATM. But a few months down the road, once he's done with Zero-One, this could be a huge deal. Looking forward to see how this develops. What are the boards thoughts on Masato Tananka and a possible future in ECW?

Also not sure how reliable the site is, but it's fun to speculate sometimes.

I think He'd fit in good but one problem with ECW right now IMO is that they don't use enough of their talent. We have yet to see Christopher W.(C.W.) Anderson, Gangrel, etc. on TV and they could use more matches on their show instead of all the same promos we see every week.

As far as C.W. goes if they used him right now he would have to a jobber, not room to push any more people then they are right now. If the hold off his on screen debut he could really go places and get some serious notoriety late this year early next year. No need to jump the gun.

Has Gangrel's involvement in ECW been made official? I'm not sure.

The promos are a good way to get A LOT of people TV time that otherwise wouldn't be able to be seen on TV, while still having match time. It works, lets not forget this is the early stages of the New ECW, patience is the key here.

I know it's those god damn Shannon Moore promos that were shown every week and he still hasn't debuted and now he might not soon since there is heat on him for his dark match with C.W. As far as Gangrel goes, He signed with WWE for ECW about the same time as Justin Credible(whos been jobbing way too much) and is supposed to be a part of the faction with Kevin Thorn and Ariel.

Yeah I heard the rumor, I didn't know it was official. It could work, then again as good as Thorn is I don't think he needs a out of shape tag partner.

I'm a huge Masato Tanaka mark, and I would love to see him come into ECW to feud with guys like RVD, Sabu and Kurt Angle. He really has a very entertaining and interesting style, and every match I've seen him in has been highly enjoyable.

At the moment, it's probably best to keep him off TV until they get more air-time. Otherwise he'll be nothing more than Big Show/Mike Knox fodder, and he's far too talented for that.

Didn't zero-1 fold like a year ago? And then Shinjiro Ohtani created zero-1 max, which is doing almost as shitty?

He'd be better off as a fulltime ecw star.

Also, if heyman is pushing that hard for him, i doubt he'd be a jobber.

It would be nice if ECW didn't, you know, have rules. As much as he doesn't need chair shots.... I mean, come on. Why bring him in to excite people about Masato Tanaka in ECW if he can't do anything fun?

They still have extreme rules matches every week.

They might go all outon PPV. I hope. :(

They still have extreme rules matches every week.

One match a week really isn't enough. They can keep ECW without rules, just don't have every match or wrestler take advantage of that. It can be done. It has been done.

I don't like how Punk ripped off KENTA's combo. I mean if you are a practitioner of Muay Thai, you should be able to come up with your own striking combo.
