A little off topic... but I was watching SummerSlam '02 last night (IMO the 2nd best PPV ever behind WMX-Seven) and Edge was wrestling Eddie this is right before he went down with his neck injury... man was he over! Edge was a really good face. I just happen to think this fued would be better if Edge was face and Cena was heel.

In all honesty we need Hassan to help end this one.

Hassan comes out and bashes "The Marine" and says the movie sucks also. Cena comes out, beats up on Hassan, have them do a three month thing. Why? Cena says there are things that mean more to him than the title, like the USA (cheap pop). So Cena, fresh off of getting screwed by Edge for the 45783029589058743905840958409584095843th time, tells Edge he'll be back for his title after he takes care of Hassan. After a few months we all forgot that Cena was the champion.
We don't need Hassan, just someone who isn't from the USA... but Hassan would be the best guy for this.

For the longest time I've liked the idea of something worth more than a title. I don't want to see Cena use that idea, but it'll be worth it to see Edge and Cena again.

Have Cena snap at a PPV, and go all "Extreme." Cena take's whatever's available and uses it to fuck Edge up, losing a chance at gold. Cena tells people on Raw that he's sick and tired of playing the goody two-shoes for some whiny ass fans who never appreciate him busting his ass for them.

In this scenario, I'd like to see Cena use a steel chair, because they can play up Edge's history with a steel chair, and even have him hit a solo con-chair-to (Or have Lita help him) on Cena. Cena can then interrupt a match and FU Edge through a table (Announce table, probably). You can see where I'm going with this.

I want to see them go all out in a match where you expect them to just beat the fuck out of each other. I don't even care who wins. Hell, have Hardy come out and screw Edge, setting up a feud between the two of them (It's just not a TLC without the stoned bastard anyway).

This involves Cena not being Will Smith though, so it'll never happen.

It'll end, one way or another, at Cyber Sunday. Edge will retain the WWE Championship in a TLC Match against John Cena and Jeff Hardy at Unforgiven, then we'll get the fans choosing from a vote between John Cena, Jeff Hardy and Carlito.

If John Cena gets the fans' vote, the WWE will use this as a big blow-off to the feud, and have Lita turn on Edge after being abused for him in recent months (probably due to a good relationship remaining between Lita and Jeff Hardy), and John Cena wins his third WWE Championship. If John Cena does not get the fans' vote, I think the WWE will finally wisen up and turn John Cena heel.

Let's say that John Cena doesn't get the vote. We'll say Carlito does. John Cena and Jeff Hardy win the World Tag Team Championship earlier in the night (seems to be a tradition for the losers of the ballot). Before the main event, Lita offers to help Carlito win the WWE Championship. Carlito wants nothing to do with Lita. Edge also has a scene where he walks into John Cena. Edge laughs at Cena and says that this reminds him of Taboo Tuesday 2004, where Edge was so close to being WWE Champion, but the fans didn't give him the opportunity he deserved. Edge then says something like "It's woken you up hasn't it?".

In the WWE Championship match, the ref is knocked down, and Lita climbs to the top rope, goes to hit a Litacanrana on Edge, but misses and nails Carlito. Lita acts like it was an accident (they could really continue this storyline) and John Cena then runs out, looks to hit Edge with a steel chair. Edge backs off and begs Cena not to do it. Cena throws the steel chair down, then picks Carlito up in a fireman's carry. F-U to Carlito on the steel chair. Edge then covers. 1-2-3.

The next night, Edge has a special Cutting Edge segment, where he has John Cena as his guest. Edge says that he doesn't like Cena, but Cena deserves recognition for allowing Edge to be WWE Champion. Carlito attacks Edge and Cena. The World Tag Team Championship is scheduled to be defended that night, and John Cena walks out on Jeff during the match, which allows the guys they beat at Cyber Sunday to regain their titles. A Survivor Series Match is confirmed for Survivor Series: Edge and three partners of his choice vs. Carlito and three partners of his choice. John Cena and Jeff Hardy are almost picked immediately. Vince McMahon makes Lita a Special Guest Referee in the match, and if she fails to be objective, she will be stripped of the WWE Women's Championship.

Edge & John Cena as heel allies, pissed off at the world, waiting until everyone else is gone so they can continue their feud? I think it has potential.

Cena gets screwed out of the title by Trevor Murdoch, who earlier in the night cuts a promo saying that he "brings the wrestling ability, personality, and charisma to his team, and what does Lance bring? His pretty face" and punks Cade.

Next night, Trevor comes out with Edge, and Edge announces Murdoch as his personal bodyguard, or "Hired Gun." He then declares that, from here on out, anyone who wants to beat him has to go through Murdoch.

[/pipedream]

Edge will go over clean at the ladder match, and then Orton/Carlito will have a #1 Contender's match. Carlito goes over and feuds with Edge. Orton feuds with Trips. Trips and Edge go over in their feuds (Orton comes close, but they book him as someone who doesn't seem to have all the cards to beat the Game.). They then feud with each other, come Wrestlemania time. This feud should, by all accounts, Have Money Written all over it.

All I can do is pray that Edge wins this feud. He should really take the title with him to WrestleMania. Not only because he's the best heel the WWE has on RAW right now (except for Cena), but because he's undefeated at WrestleMania. His streak isn't Undertaker good, but it's good enough that beating him would mean something.

Actually, I'd rather Cena win the WWE Title sometime, turn heel, then defend against a face Shelton Benjamin or Carlito at WrestleMania. Edge beats The Undertaker, continuing to build momentum as the top heel in the industry.

In my best Alienoid...

The RAW before the Unforgiven, the Coach casually tells Cena that if he doesn't win the title then, he moves back to the bottom of the ladder. Cena shrugs it off, but loses at Unforgiven in the speculated TLC match when he hits the FU on Edge, but is dropkicked off the ladder or something by Jeff Hardy (who would make sense to be in the match if it is a TLC one). Edge spears him and climbs the ladder and wins the match.

The next night on RAW, Cena confronts the Coach to ask about the last chance stipulation. Coach says it wasn't his idea, and when Cena asks whose it was, Coach points behind him. Cena turns into an attack from Shelton Benjamin. Shelton beats the crap out of him, shakes hands with Coach, and leaves the arena in a limo. The next week, Shelton comes out to explain his actions. The jest of it is that he's tired of seeing that chump Cena get title shot after title shot while he is stuck on Heat even though he is the best athlete in sports entertainment. Cena attacks him, and voila, a feud.

Edge goes off into an interesting feud with Jeff Hardy where they can have killer matches. Those feuds could get you to the Survivor Series, but it would get the spotlight off Cena/Edge immediately, and start two pretty good feuds.

Kane/Umaga, Orton/Carlito, and DX/McMahons seem to be on the table. Have the Spirit Squad in a 4-way for the titles with Cade/Murdoch, Highlanders, and Hacksaw/Eugene. And have Flair defend his newly respected former enemy Mick Foley by challenging Nitro for the IC title. Doesn't sound too bad, and it would keep Cena away from Edge for awhile.

That's pretty much what I expect Unforgiven to look like, but with Lita vs. Trish Stratus for the WWE Women's Championship and perhaps a Tag Team Turmoil stipulation added to the Fatal Fourway Tag Team Match (although it is unlikely) including Charlie Haas & Viscera, as well as maybe Val Venis & Snitsky in the title hunt.

John Cena and Shelton Benjamin should definately feud in the near-future. I think Benjamin should be a face for it, though. Just seems more natural. I'd have this go until Cyber Sunday.

Edge retains in the TLC Match, but he never pinned Cena, which allows John to get a possible title shot, if the fans allow it at Cyber Sunday. We get one of two things from this: John Cena getting the fan support to have one final match with Edge, where he would probably win his third WWE Championship; or we get John Cena not being selected by the fans, and then turning heel because they've "turned their backs on him".

It's simple, it's easy, and hopefully it freshens up John Cena a little bit.

How about this:Cena does not get the vote for the title match at Cyber Sunday and he and Carlito go for the tag titles but in the middle of it he walks out.On Raw Cena explains that after all these months of busting his ass for all these ungrateful fans he woke up and realised that they are not worth it so,he's in this for himself and the chain gang can go to hell, with that we go to the main event which is a six man tag match Shane,Umaga and a mystery partner vs. DX and Carlito. When it looks like Shane and Umaga are going to lose the match Cena comes down with a chair and attacks DX and Carlito!

My idea for Shelton/The Coach came from watching the Heat match between Benjamin and Venis. Coach was announcing, and he was doing a pretty good job verbally fellating Shelton throughout the match. Shelton realizes this, figures the Coach has powers, and suggests the Last Chance clause to his new friend. I know the idea of a heel Cena seems wonderful, but I have to think WWE doesn't have that in their plans for their top merchandise seller, at least until after WrestleMania. So, Benjamin keeps his ego gimmick and partners with Coach awhile as a heel against Cena. Plus, it would give Cena some face cred if they play it up for Cyber Sunday that Coach won't even PUT Cena on the ballot.
