View Full Version : If you had a choice... (DVD related)
If you had a choice between paying $200 for a complete Royal Rumble set or $75 for just the Rumble matches, which would you take?
I'd just take the Rumble matches.

Yeah, matches.

I dunno, its a tough call. Some Rumble cards have been pretty lackluster except for the Rumble matches themselves but some others have been solid.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Rumble match itself and some of the other matches at the Rumble usually suck and its cheaper so I agree.

I would like to see some of the old classic matches too. It would all come down to the price. If it would be waaaaay more for the whole PPVs, then I'd just want the Rumbles. There have been some pretty great matches at Rumbles over the years. Some pretty awful ones too.... mainly over the past few years.
Overall I'd rather have just the Rumbles if I had to chose.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of blowing dead animals while my father licks my asshole. So I would have to say I'm pretty terrible and should probably end my own life.
On another note... I'd just get the matches... Although I want a DVD copy of the Mankind/Rock I Quit Match

I'd probably want something in between. The Royal Rumbles with a few select matches of guys who have won the Royal Rumble at some point in their career. Like Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho from 2001, or Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit from 2003. If you get the Rumble Matches, you'd also get Eddie Guerrero winning that SmackDown! Royal Rumble, which would be pretty sweet.
If I had to choose, I'd go with the $75 set.
$200 is cheap for every Rumble card. I'd get that.
Even Steiner/HHH is memorable for its horribleness, and should be watched for that reason alone.

I voted for a full rumble set.
Why? because there have been some decent matches. The Triple H vs Cactus Jack match in 2000 springs to mind (wasn't the Hardy Boyz vs Dudley Boys table match at that PPV, held at the garden?)
It would be like asking for just the wrestlemania main events, because then you'd miss out on potential show stealers like Austin vs Hart and Undertaker vs Flair...Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho...although on the flip side, you would have the full wrestlemania 9 card....**shudder**

Full Shows.
Rumbles are usually better then most. I used to never get the sense of "filler" match...Recent Rumbles though...
