You want to protest Stop watching. People won't, because wrestling fans are like crack addicts, without the actual excuse of addiction. No, retardation is the wrestling fan's only excuse, as lame as any Trekkie, Star Wars fanboy, or comicon bitch.

You just won the
FUCKTARD OF THE MOMENT AWARD FOR EXCELLING IN BEING A FUCKTARD!!!!

I know Vince has done some pretty bad story lines, but I don't think he would disrespect the memory of Eddie. No, I'm not too hot with where this is going 'cept maybe a cheap way to try to get Chavo over. But still, if anyone has a right to complain it'd be Eddie's friends and family.
We're just fans. If you don't like it, turn off your tv.

Honestly, no one knew eddie like his wife, and if she's doing all this stuff, i'm sure that this really is what eddie would have wanted. To be part of the show, even after death. Its easy for us to sit here and critisize it, but we never knew Eddie Guerrero, and we don't know what he would have wanted.

Yeah. We need to all stop watching and maybe WWE will just stop the storyline and finally have to release Vickie Guerrero from this contract that she is legally forced to uphold on Eddie's behalf therefore, MUST appear on TV in any storylines WWE see fit for her or risk being sued for breech of contract.

Do you hear yourself? Do you hear what you're saying? I might kill you tonight.

I think Rey used Eddie's death to get his World Title, Chavo is using it to further his career, and Vicky is using it to get some celebrity. Vince is using it to make money, and fans are eating it up.

Really the disgrace to Eddie (from my point of view) is coming in from all fronts. Personally don't watch SmackDown because of it...just like I don't watch RAW anymore because I hate Hogan that much. My choice, you want to make a similar one? Do it. But no matter what you choose please shut up this instant.

At the beginning of it all when Eddie died [Wow... its coming close to almost a year :(] it was a rather raw feeling, but the way he was being remembered for the first few months it was relatively nice.

Rey came into it then winning the Rumble and everything else, that bit i was "okay" with, it was just the later stages. The Randy Orton storyline is what made me think "right okay, this is getting too much now" with all the "Hes in hell" business.

It wasnt just that comment, but it was continually happening week in, week out, i did start to have a strong disliking to him from that point [Even though i did know he was a cocky, arrogant arsehole anyway] and not in the heel'ish type of dislike, this was more a personal dislike.

Then it went on and on and on with Rey, and it started to become boring and tedious again until Chavo finally did the right thing by screwing Rey, with the involvement of REAL Guerrero's it isnt that bad, since they're Eddie's family, sure, i think Vickie/y shouldnt be in the storyline, its just bad acting, and it is sad to see what she does [ie, running down to the ring screaming etc] to a point i turn the channel over and wait 5min or so before continuing with Smackdown [Something i only reserved for the Diva Contest].

I know Eddie is up there in heaven watching down on them and probably having a jolly god laugh about it, it seemed like the kind of person he was

yo Fucktard, go start an online petition if you feel that strongly about it. Or go to a show with a really big sign saying "VINCE, STOP THIS EDDIE STORYLINE"

and if any of you think Vince cares...just remember the man wanted to do an incest angle with stef.

I'm still waiting for Eddie Guerrero to make his return on the anniversary of his death.

I know it won't happen, but imagine if McMahon and Guerrero put this much time, planning and execution into a WWE storyline, which had Eddie return from death and win the WWE Championship.

Meh. I've more or less stopped caring. Eddie's life and death are a joke now, and if nobody who loved him gives a shit, I can't either.

Rectal Pertruder, go to town.

It's great that we can have this conversation once a month. I like remembering that there are those of us who don't know the details and keep our noses out of it, and those of us who presume to know it all and claim that it's all exploitation done for personal gain. Good to know it takes all kinds here on good ol' tpww.

With all due respect to Eddie and his family, fuck it. CC, RP, WTF, LOL, whomever in the hell you are, go for it.
I don't watch SmackDown to watch SmackDown. I watch SmackDown to hang out with my friends. They watch SmackDown, so I keep up with it.

It's not bothering me as much as it probably should be. I only half watch watch Smackdown. Wrestling in general I don't pay as much attention to right now. I still watch Raw, Smackdown, ECW, and TNA regularly, but can't sit and watch a full show straight.

I'm with you a hundred percent. I have to do something else while wrestling is on because it rarely is good enough to warrant 2 full hours of attention, if 1. And the Eddie stuff is fine. While it is distasteful and all, we have to remember that Vince is an eccentric old man, the guerreros are in on it, Eddie will never have a say, and fans not tuning in won't stop it. Besides, Its better than Khali or Sylvan on the air.

I dont have a big deal with it...its not like they are using it in an Edge-John Cena fued where they are randomly bringing up Eddie Guerrero...

this fued is between his family and friends so its not a big deal...besides, if I were him and my friends and family wanted to use me in a storyline to help themselves a little after I died I wouldnt have a problem with it.

I look at it like this, if they didn't have this storyline there would be fuck all to watch on Smackdown. What would you prefer, something entertaining(such as this rey/chavo feud) or a couple more squash matches? Considering how small the roster is, that's all we would be getting if this storlyine was cancelled.

Also another way of looking at it is, Eddie would want his family/friends to profit from his career. It gives his career some more meaning if you think about it. If they can all benefit from his career then that's all he would've wanted in the first place, surely? That's the kind of person he seemed like to me.

Yeah, I sure think a face who can't draw and a heel who's protecting the Guerrero name will help his memory.

The Guerrero are a wrestling family. They are born into it, they spend they're whole lifes in it, it only right that it keeps going after they do.
