Better Than You

It was easily the best episode yet. Everything came together so well. I'll take it from the top.
-The Build up Promos
Balls promo was OK, decent attempt to get the fans to identify with him. Although Kelly Kelly proved that speaking didn't get her that job.
Rene Dupree being in ECW confuses me. I cant really speak any more on the subject as I fear my head will explode.
Shannon Moore again... When are they going to do something with is or get him off the TV?
The Sabu promo was ridiculous as always
-Punk
CM Punk is developing quite a following and very quickly.Stevie Richards put on a nice performance, you could see him throw a few stiff shots during the match but Punk just took and gave his own. The match was very solid, every week Punks performance is only improving. Punk showed off some new moves for the ECW/WWE audience with a plancha (showing he can do a fair share of flying) and a Eddy style reverse flapjack with a dropkick combo. The Anaconda Vice is such a sweet finish, it ain't no Pepsi Plunge but dammit, its sweet.
-The "In-Ring" debut Matt Striker
I loved this segment. Striker is really gold with the Mic. This is a good feud for the Sandman now that the Heyman/ECW originals program has ended. "Ossified from drinking his giggle water." ROFL
-Van Damn/Holly
They are doing a very good job with this. having RVD start from the bottom is a good way to give Van Damn something to do while they do the Sabu/Big Show program. They put on an entertaining match, and I like these DQ endings from the ECW originals. They cant be contained. Holly might actually be a good fit for ECW after all, even if he does make it feels slightly more like Velocity. Those chair shots were sick.
-The Big Show
Good little promo there. Set up what it needed to. I couldn't help but wander when that was tapped and even if the audience had seen RAW.
-The main event
I had my doubts but this was an excellent match. One of the few matches since the return I thought had that ECW feel. It was total mayhem and I loved it. This sets up quite a bit. First we get the return of Sabu/Van Dam as a tag team clearly. AWESOME. They'll wrestle the Bashams as a road block to getting Heyman and then they can have a Three on two tag with Holly/Show/and Heyman. From there I dunno.
Things are shaping up very well for this "New" ECW. By they're first PPV they are gonna have a hot show on their hands.
And don't forget I, and ECW, are Better Than You.
