You know where the QB runs a sweep and he can pitch it to the RB or keep it himself. Never seen that in the NFL.

It wouldn't work. The defenses in the NFL are far to fast and "physical"

It happens, just not very often.

Quincy Carter attempted a couple of times when he was in Dallas.

the NFL teams also do not like risking their Franchise QBs in that style of play.

Yeah, you've seen what they did to a guy like Michael Vick, he is capable of running the shit out of the ball, but thats such a risk they are trying to make him a pocket passer now.

You mean Drew brees. LT is the back, backs dont run the option, they are the backup and take the ball off the pitch.

NFl QBs for the most part also are not mobile enough to boot leg for yards and not get sacked before they get the ball to the back.

Vick and young are about it in terms of speed. Imagine Drew Bledsoe and Peyton manning running bootlegs?!

Option QBs are not typically NFL calibur passers. Therfore they dont make it to the pros, or become a WR.

Hey remember Eric Crouch? yeah

Hey remember Eric Crouch? yeah

exactly.

Option QBs will never make an NFL team.

Shit, nebraska cranks out great option Qbs, but none ever have a chance at the pros. (Crouch and Frazier)

But yet Jeff George still gets hired......crazy
