View Full Version : Call it now: Will Cena be moved to SmackDown?

And no "I don't care" shit, either.

Do you see the WWE moving Cena and keeping the belt on Edge (which I think they should now. I'm liking this), or are they going to fuck up a good thing AGAIN and have Cena be a WWE Champ for a third time?

I hope he goes to Smackdown so I can boo the fuck out of him on the Smackdown European tour in November.

Impeccable

I think Cena will win, and Edge will decide to move to Smackdown, taking Lita (and the women's title, look at their diva list building up...and with Trish leavinbg(?))...and then they'll probably move Matt Hardy back over to Raw for a Hardy Boyz reunion!

*insert something that involves the tile being put on Doug Basham*

At this point, I can't see them not moving Cena to Smackdown. Mostly because I have trouble believing, much as I'd like to see it, that they will job out Edge in any legit or meaningful way.

He will stay on Raw.

I think they will move him to Smackdown by some dumbass reason where he will conquer everyone, like nothing you have seen before...
Makes me wonder if Smackdown is thinking WTF? We got rid of him didn't we.

I think Cena is going to SD but will somehow get injured wehen he gets there, which will allow him to film another movie.

Cena won't go to SD but someone will

The idea of Cena going to SD! is insane. It would never happen.

Cena will win his 3rd title  and STAY on RAW.

Xero

He probably WILL go to SmackDown! for a short time, to boost CW ratings. Once that dies down, he'll probably come back to RAW if he wins the Rumble.

I know they wanna put the belt back on Cena so he's not going to SmackDown! and it is a stupid decision because it's just burying Edge's character.

If they're going to end this Edge/Cena rivalry the only way they can do it for sure is to send one of them to Smackdown, I wouldn't mind seeing Edge on Smackdown as he suits that show more than Raw imo, and SD! is in need of talent. But I don't want to see Cena as champ for a while and Edge should have a longer title reign. So to answer your question, I doubt it will be Cena who goes to Smackdown.

Cena is NOT going to SmackDown.

Sadly.

If they moved Cena to Smackdown that would show they care about Smackdown, which they don't. They will probably fake us out and move Booker T to Raw because it's been a few month since the last time they raided Smackdown of its talent and moved them to Raw.:shifty:

I want to see him go on SmackDown because I watch Raw a lot more often than I watch SmackDown.

I think he will

Not a chance. The plan has been since the start for Cena to take the title eventually.

I think that him moving would be the best thing the WWE can do, so he is staying put. Raw would be void of anyone to challenge Edge if he leaves.

With DX tied up with the Mcmahons, who would challenge for the title. The WWE is in a bad way right now.

Moving him to Smackdown would mean they could edit out the boos and make it sound like people liked him.

When Cena was still on Smackdown he was over.

When he moved to Raw was around the time when he started to get heat.

WWE are just trying to do the smart thing in their eyes.

Keep him on Raw.

Cena WILL go to SD! Batista has shakin the confendence of management and Cena needs to make room for Trips on RAW. Add in the ability to edit crowd reactions and I can guarantee he is going to SD! Plus maybe he can boost ratings on the CW network.

If and when Cena wins, I'm going to assume they're going to change the WWE Championship - again. This is retarded. One belt for all - not every champion gets his own custom belt.

Rammsteinmad

Agreed. I was hoping Edge would finally destroy it and bring back the old one.

So is the old WWE belt history then?

I can see them sending Cena to SmackDown!, if just to appease the CW Network, maybe get SmackDown! back on Thursdays and to edit the crowd reactions.

He should go to Smackdown and TURN HEEL.

Cena vs. Batista at WrestleMania.

Well, with Rey taking a leave of absence soon, you figure one of them will definitely go to SD and I think it'll be Cena, cause you figure the next feud for the WWE champ is going to be with HHH and seeing as how Trips is a face now, chances are he'll feud with Edge.

The Naitch

Cena is staying on RAW

Thriller

I think Cena will move to Smackdown for 2 reasons...
1)If he were to stay on Raw his challengers would consist of either Edge or Orton.Edge/Cena has been over done and Orton/Cena though would be fresh should really be kept apart till Mania. While if Edge were to retain he would have HBK and HHH to feud as the Dx/Mcmahon fued should be winding down.

2)Unforgiven just happens to be the weekend before Smackdown's "Premeire" on CW and knowing the wwe they would make a big deal about it.

Kane Knight
09-03-2006, 03:11 PM
Cena/Orton should really be a cross-brand deal anyway. If they can regain their popularity.
