Quote:
There is a rumor that The Rock is going to make a surprise appearance on RAW in-ring next week to promote his upcoming movie The Gridiron Gang. We hope to be able to confirm this by day's end.

It's fake, realdeal is an assclown, wrestlinginc isn't reputable, and I just don't see Rock coming back (though they STILL like a year after his contract ran out havn't taken him off the roster page)

It's not happening. Dwayne Johnson says now he is absolutely DONE with pro wrestling.

Yeah, that's lasted permanently with HOW many wrestlers? (And I'm counting the HOF as a return here.)

Yeah, you know cause people wrestle at the Hall of Fame.

he could just go on to promote it and not wrestle

I still doubt it and at this point, I think they'd hype him rather than having a surprise appearance.

Even if it's true I don't really care. I will care if he says on Raw that he's back with the WWE full time. That's not going to happen, so MEH!

Well, exactly how many wrestlers have experienced the kind of success outside of Vince McMahon's umbrella that The Rock has? He doesn't need wrestling, nor does he need us pathetic wrestling fans anymore.

Which is why I think it's kind of sad when I see Rock news on wrestling websites, when most of the time, it has nothing to do with wrestling.

The Rock will be back at some point. Him saying that he is done with wrestling is bullshit and he knows it.

When they say they're "done with wrestling", it should mean everything. In wrestling now, not wrestling but showing up on a show counts as "wrestling" in the entertainment form.
