What an unbelievable f'n show last night. Shinedown started off the night playing a few of their songs, though they left out "I Dare You". The lead singer Brent even said that people think rock is dead, but apparently haven't seen the crowd we had last night.

Rob Zombie was out next, and its amazing all the stuff he puts into his live show. He had huge American flags with skulls on them, platforms for the dancers, big plastic demons, and even a giant robot came out on stage and danced for a couple songs.

When it was time for Godsmack to come out, they did a Goldberg like entrance. There was a guy with a camera that knocked on their door, and showed the band coming from the backstage area. The crowd was into everything all night. Though they seemed to calm down a little bit during the song "Trippin", since its not a well-known song. Sully was even saying of how we were even louder than their hometown of Boston.

I'd definitely go see them again, though merchandise prices were kinda high. It was around $35 just for a basic tshirt.

Did they get lost like Chris Jericho?

Since it was only 40 miles away for me, I actually went by myself since I couldn't get anyone else to go. But I ended up talking to a few people at the show. And I almost forgot to mention one of the cooler parts of the evening, Sully and Shannon did the dueling drums around 3/4 of the way through the show. That even went on for around 10 minutes.

No they didn't get lost on the way out, but that would have been embarrassing.

It was in an outside auditorium which was cool.

I was at an outside venue too. I bought lawn tickets, which were $25 cheaper than seats, but I got to stand right behind the seats anyways. The workers tried to move people who had lawn tickets away from the seats during Zombie's performance, but they let us go during Godsmack's.

And the SMACK IS THE 2ND COMING OF METALLICA.

I don't know about that. When Metallica toured with Godsmack two or three years ago Metallica blew Godsmack out of the water. Godsmack was good, but weren't even in the same league.
