Come October 6th 2006, PWTorrents will open its doors to the public for 4 days only.
Nobody is excluded (that includes staff and members from OTHER sites). We welcome all to come and share the experience that our current members are experiencing. July 3rd 2006 was the last time Pro Wrestling Torrents opened it's doors. Since then, the site has been as successful being an invite only site. With only Power Users being allowed to upload torrents, we still have a gigantic torrent library with a good amount of seeders on most of them.
October 6th is the opportunity to get your friends to come to pwtorrents.net and sign up!
We are looking forward to welcoming all the new-comers.

I highly recommend you remember this date. I have been a member of PW Torrents for a while now and it has all PPVS (usually the day after), shows, and other random shit for download with a great rate of seeders. The only thing is you must continue to seed after you download or they will delete your account. But this is a small price to pay for watching all the PPVS free.

And if you ever miss any WWE, TNA show you can simply download it thu here. I even donated money to them because it was so good. So I suggest you join, you won't regret it.

One problem with PWTorrents is if you download a PPV, its next to impossible to seed, and you have to make sure your overall share ratio doesn't dip below 0.5.

If you get there early enough then it's not too hard, but it's a fair point. If that happens to be honest the easiest thing to do is download one or two smaller new torrents, even if you don't want them, and just seed them for a bit.

Just go to the TORRENTS tab at the top right next to HOME.

Choose what you want to download, click on it and you will see the link.

Then use your chosen Bittorrent program.

BTW some programs like BitLord are banned, and your account will be deleted if caught using them.

Go and sign up to their forums, theres a topic in the support section its called Login/Confirmation Problems or something like that. Its the very top one anyway, just reply with the username you signed up with to the main site and they will sort it. Thats what they did for me.

The default port for torrents is 6881, some ISP's block it or monitor traffic on it so some torrent sites blacklist it.

Basically whatever your torrent program is, go into the options and look for the default port option (could be called anything really...just look for 6881 and change it to another number, like 50000).

Yeah you can't use the default 6881 port because it is blacklisted. The port number has to be a number between 20000-50000. So pick like any number in between that and it'll all be good to go. So you could pick 34599 or some random number.

Its easy to change the port number, you can usually just go to tools, then to the options part and its usually under the Connections subtitle and there will be a place that says Incoming TCP/UDP listen port and beside that will be the number 6881. You should be able to just erase 6881 and type in a number between 20000-50000 to change it. And then just hit 'save' or 'apply settings' button and you're golden.

so how long should it take to download shit? I'm on a broadband connection and I'm downloading a 1.37GB file and I'm downloading it at 2.3kb/s. Should this speed up or what? If its gonna be so fucking slow, I'm not even gonna waste my time.

Depends on a) your connection and b) how many seeders (i.e. people who have the entire file already) there are.

I have a 10mb connection and downloaded the No Mercy PPV (which had like 400 seeders) at about 500kb/s

On Tuesday, Pro Wrestling Torrents announced a reopening of our signups for 24 hours only. This is due to the comments made about the people who were bit late to signup during our 4 day signups a couple of weeks ago. We at PWT are proud to reopen them again for all you slow people :P
It will be for 24 hours starting from when signups open. You will have a chance to be apart of the best wrestling torrent community there is to know. My ratio is 3.03 and I'm having real problems getting it back up. Every time I download something, for example RAW this week, I leave it running overnight so I can upload but it's so fuckin' slow at uploading, my ratio is constantly the shits.

Anything I can do except for leaving it to upload for like a week?

TerranRich - hhhmm torrents seem to work with my router. What router do you have?

Under the Windows Security Center in Control Panel - check out your firewall settings and make sure under the exceptions tab, that the software you are using for bittorrents ( aka your bitorrent client) is there and checked.
Other then that it should work okay, check out your settings for the bittorrent client as well and see if that helps!

We've just been informed that 3-4 websites dedicated to providing free wrestling materials through torrent and direct downloads have been shut down by World Wrestling Entertainment in the past 2 weeks. They received the same letter we got back in April. For all those wondering what happens if we get that letter again? Nothing will happen. This site is 100% legal due to the distribution of only ".torrent" files and our offshore location.

Now for the best bit. We've received a few PM's and E-mails from EX-Staff members of those shut down sites to help them into getting their site back online. I hate to say this, but your on your own. We won't get involved in such issues that may put PWT in danger (not that it would happen anyway but meh). We focus on being independent, we have so for nearly 3 years now and we aren't going to change that because another site needs a hand because they have problems with a multi-billion dollar company. The members here are safe and be rest assured, PWT isn't going anywhere.

Ok, now I really wanna get my ratio up but it's pissing me off now. I downloaded yesterday and I've kept the thing going for the last 24 hours uploading and my ratio is currently 0.2 something. It was 0.303. It's fuckin' annoying. What would be the best way to sort it out?

My guess would be RAW tonight but I gotta be up fuckin' early and I can't start downloading it 'til like 5am (UK). If I start downloading @ say 10am UK time tomorrow ad leave it going all day, do ya think I might get somewhere then?
