Kenny!

Johnny!

Mitch!

Nicky!

Mikey!

and they are....the spirit squad!

On the April 3 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_3), edition of RAW, Kenny and Mikey, with outside help from the other three members of the Squad, defeated Big Show (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Wight) and Kane (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glen_Jacobs) to win the World Tag Team Championship (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Tag_Team_Championship). After winning the titles an (kayfabe) "executive edict" was declared stating that all five members were recognized as the champions, with any two members being allowed to defend the titles at once (see Freebird Rule (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabulous_Freebirds#Freebird_Rule)).

On May 22 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_22), 2006 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006), RAW was in Las Vegas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Vegas) and Vince McMahon signed a 5 vs. 1 Handicap Match pitting the Spirit Squad against Shawn Michaels. However, the match never started and The Spirit Squad brutally beat down Michaels. They ripped apart his ring attire and shattered his knee with a steel chair (as he was going for his Sweet Chin Music (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superkick)). Vince called Triple H to the ring to finish Michaels off with a sledgehammer shot. However, Kenny suddenly snatched the sledgehammer away and disrespected Triple H, which led to Triple H attacking the group.

Spirit Squad would continue to feud with both Triple H and Shawn Michaels, who would team to revive the DX (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D-Generation_X) faction. DX played various sophomoric pranks on the Squad and the McMahons, as well as defeating Spirit Squad in various handicap tag matches during Vengeance (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWE_Vengeance#2006) and Saturday Night's Main Event (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturday_Night%27s_Main_Event).

If we are talking about all of them together in the ring, of course they are going to kick ass, but it's unfair.

They are a bunch of male cheerleaders who no one ever makes gay bashing jokes about. They have no reason to care about them other than the fact that there are 5 of them. They are incredible athletes, each and every one of them, but as a unit they offer me nothing. I gave them a 2 based on raw talent alone...but usually I see what's on NBC when they come on...they bore me.

I cannot stand the gimmick or the way these guys act. They do have good chemistry in the ring and are fairly talented but I just can't get past the shitty gimmick, everytime they appear I get the urge to throw up.

About a 6.

It's a great gimmick, but they really don't do shit. I have no reason to care or not care for them. I can't wait to see them as singles wrestlers, but iit would be nice for some of them to start to stand out now. I have a hard time remembering who is who most of the time.

Gotta second this completely, really low credibility, and having the titles on them does nothing for anybody, except give the joke writers one less thing to have to write properly for.
