Indubitably.

....Depending on how well it's booked, this may be the second wrestling Pay Per View I buy in 2006...

It would be cool to see a throw back to the old school survivor series, and have all survivor series elimination matches. Maybe have all three brands have their own survivor series elimination match, either 4 on 4 or 5 on 5, and then have like a "wildcard" match, like back in 1995, where you could mix and match two teams of all three brand and have them square off. I think that would be cool.

I figured we'd see an old-school Survivor Series Match pitting the ECW Originals against the New Breed, but I think a RAW vs. SmackDown! vs. ECW main event has so much more potential. Just have the rest of the card filled with Survivor Series Matches as well. Mix up the brands and the feuds, etc. Would be a fun PPV.

I agree with The One, this might be my 2nd PPV in 2006(my first being Unforgiven Sunday). I think it could work but kind of proves my prediction of new blood vs. ECW originals in a survivor match wrong.

That's always the kicker with the WWE...how well will it be booked?

Why not do what they did years ago? Where they can have three matches for each brand, and the winning team go on to the main event which will be a triple threat survivor series match.

Looks like we're not getting NWO VS DX then.

If it's booked as decently as Unforgiven was, I'll probably end up getting it.

On a sidenote, did anyone happen to notice the absolutely random reference to Montreal? It was completely unnecessary.

Same thing I thought.

If they keep it tag format I think a cluster can be avoided.

The Vipers vs The Visionaries

I miss those days when each team had its own name.

those were my favorite PPV's.

I think I rented SS 90 like 10 times when I was younger. I own it on VHS now though.

I have it on tape as well, and while it was not a spectular show, that is one of those shows that is one of my sentimental favorites. I never get tired of it, and have watched it numerous of times.

Yeah, that what I was saying. To be fair, it did say that and then said that Survivor Series was going to be in the Belle Centre where that took place, and that the incident was on the tenth Series anniversary. But still, of all the memorable SS incidents that happened, they shove that one in our throats again. :nono:

How was the reference random? Same place ten years later of such an infamous event. Seems pretty relevant.

It was 9 years ago not 10 FFS.

We have heard about Montreal every single year since it happened. Did you think that Vince McMahon would forget about it this year? No. Get over it, get used to it, because this is WWE we are talking about, and if it's controversial, Vince will remind you he started it.
