So I'm gonna invest in buying a drum kit.

But in the time being, answer question (in title)

Danny Carey - Tool
Brad Wilk (Audioslave and ex-RATM) is a stud too, but he's no Danny

The drummer from Godsmack also rules. Sully isn't a bad drummer himself either.

Meg White - The White Stripes

....what?

I was going to give her a mention, too. She's not the absolute greatest on the kit, but the way she moves her head is eerie as fuck.

Yeah, he was solid in Meliah Rage.

Nobody mention Lars again. He might as well be a floutist for all the talent he has at drums.

MIKE PORTNOY!!! (Dream Theater)

http://earthshaker.free.fr/images/photos-galeries/MikePORTNOY.jpg
Yeah, he's dynamite as well. However, I would recommend not starting out with Dream Theater or Tool as your first songs on the drums. You'll probably end up not getting them and then give up on drumming altogether, which is no good.

Scott Travis - Judas Priest (arguably the best double bass drummer)
Robb Reiner - Anvil (anyone know Anvil? Canadian Legends)
Dan Beehler - Exciter (can sing almost as well as Rob Halford in addition to drumming)
Bobby Jarzombek - Halford / Sebastian Bach

Stanton Moore of Galactic. He played on the last COC album (In the Arms of God). The intro to the title track and fills are fucking INSANE. He's also the best drummer I've ever seen live, and I say that after having seen Vinnie Paul, Dave Lombardo, Danny Carey, Dale Crover, Paul Bostaph, and a horde of other killer percussionists.
