View Full Version : Chris Jericho on Bangin' with Ashley

No, not his son, Ash. :shifty:

Apparently on WWE.com, the latest edition of Bangin' with Ashley has Jericho talking about returning. He says he never planned to be away for long, but he just has too many projects on the go, and as soon as one finishes, another begins.

I'm too lazy to check this out, or post the link, but it sounds like Jericho is really considering returning. Thank God. The guy was destined to be a wrestler, and he still has so much to accomplish. Put him on SmackDown! in a feud with King Booker. That would rule all kinds of ass.

But yeah, the way Jericho was quoted in the article I read, made it seem like he was doing an "Aw shucks, I'm very busy, but I'll be there as soon as I can" bit to make it seem like he wasn't failing outside of the WWE. My guess, he could be back as soon as tomorrow. :y:

Jericho is one guy that I will never get sick of seeing near a wrestling ring. The sooner he comes back the better for my viewing pleasure.

Is he still competing in the Celebrity Duets stuff?

No, he was like the first one voted off.

He got voted off first, which may have been a wake-up call to the guy (I hope). It's not that he isn't talented, it's just that his true talents lie elsewhere. Use the gifts God gave you, Chris!

Yeah, I can imagine how projects like working at McDonalds can be taking up a lot of his time.

Bring back Y2J!!! I would love to see Jericho back in WWE. Strange how some of these interviews are. First it seems he said, he wouldn't be back. Now, he said it really wasn't gonna be that long of a break. Almost sounds to me like his stuff outside WWE isn't going so well.

My point exactly. I've always wondered how Jericho would go back to the WWE. From "everything's going great!" to "please re-hire me, Vince", it just doesn't seem natural for any man to do. This could be Jericho's way of easing back in. That could just be wishful thinking on my part, though. He could be honest. Or he could just be stirring the pot.

Someome post that "Next RAW GM?" pick of him. I'll rep you.

Have his comeback be just like his RAW debut.

That'd be fucking sweet, and a totally wet markout moment for sure.

Especially if no one saw it coming.

Have him interupt John Cena instead of The Rock. I always envisioned him returning in a way just as memorable as his original WWE debut. The countdown would be a bit obvious, though. Actually, if they didn't announce he had re-signed, it might work. I mean, we'd probably be like "ZOMG! JEricho!11" and everyone would be like "Shut up, he's not coming back nOObz" and then "J E R I C H O" on the titantron.

Be nice to see Jericho back in the WWE.....I belive he brings something to the product that no one else does.

Hate to inject the Angle news everywhere, but you gotta believe Vince is calling him up, throwing money at his feet BEGGING him to return.

See, this is what makes this whole thing iffy to me and really starts the Conspircy's wheels rolling. Imagine, on a barely read interview collum, one of your bigger names causually mentions he's all set for a return. Then the other company makes a huge announcement saying they've got one of your bigger stars. Suddenly, things start to look a little bit clearer.

What if Chris Jericho signs with TNA? Would that be helpful to or hindering towards the Conspiracy?

What if it's just a conspiracy between Jericho and Angle to fuck the WWE?

If you were to ask me earlier today if Jericho in TNA was a good idea, I would have said hell no. But now...I don't know. With Angle there as well it would make things really interesting.

Although the likelihood of Jericho going to TNA is more or less nonexistent.

How could Chris Jericho going to TNA hurt it? He's Chris fucking Jericho. Slap him in the X-Division and you have yourself greatness. Jericho will probably want the NWA Title, though. Give it to him in due time.

Damn, wrestling is picking up again.

Jerhico's expressed interest in TNA, but he would want a Sting type of deal, lots of hype, and if I were TNA, I'd go after him too.

Jericho returning in any capacity would be good for the stale WWE product. However, he'd be more useful to TNA...

I don't care if Jericho has to beg and wash someone's car, I just hope that he returns. While TNA would be a better fit, Their product is still so shitty that it may not work. They push the wrong guys and have weak, and lame storylines.

Please come back soon. I think it would be extremely wise of Jericho to return soon, perhaps right after Wrestlemania. With his absence he'll be way back over with the fans as a face. Its also at a time when RAW and Smackdown alike need fresh main eventers, especially face.
He's just such a solid worker, character and all around talent. He can be utilized as an amazing heel or an amazing face equally

Of course TNA could snag him in a coup and things would REALLY start getting interesting over there. (I know he said that wont be the case tho)
