Amazing that they advertise some of the bigger name superstars from raw to be on a reunion show like its some sorta suprise that they'd be there. :shifty:

NaH. No reason to sticky this yet. Chances are, the show will suck anyway.

And, of course, Trevor Murdoch will try to pick up a chick. That's what rednecks do at these functions...

This isn't the "official" thread. It's just for our ideas and what we would like to see during this supershow.

I am amped for this show already, not gonna lie. Sounds like a really fun show.

It would seem like this is the ideal place to either have the Hardy Boyz reunion or lay some serious ground work.

Not that I mind it...But I think Chavo seems more out of place there then anyone

I didn't realize we were watching Raw Reruns since spring. Season premier my ass.

Actually, it does kind of explain why the storylines all have come from the Attitude Era.

But this is nothing new. I mean, even CNN has season premiers.

My birthday is shaping up to be nice, I have school then work, and this shit on TV, oh well at least I can honestly say I have better things to do now.

Mr. Aristocrat
09-27-2006, 02:37 AM
Also, did it bother anyone else that they listed all the stars in the order they appear in the pic...EXCEPT for RVD? He is right after Umaga on the list but last in the pic.

I demand explainations for this!

I don't know why everyone is shitting on this show. It COULD be great. It COULD be shit. Either way, wait until you have some kind of idea as to what they are going to do or more preferably, wait until you see the show.

It would seem like this is the ideal place to either have the Hardy Boyz reunion or lay some serious ground work.

I'm expecting them to have Jeff Hardy and Shelton Benjamin continue feuding until the show, where they will both get to choose a tag team partner. Jeff Hardy chooses Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin chooses Charlie Haas.

They will probably have Rey and Chavo wrestle a match, for no reason other than to advertise No Mercy, even though it is a double-bladed sword. If the match sucks due to Mysterio's knee, there's going to be less interest in the match at No Mercy. I'd have Mysterio face his former tag team partner, Edge, and have Chavo do colour commentary, or something. The Undertaker will probably team with Kane to face Umaga and Mr Kennedy.

John Cena will retain the title against Edge, and face King Booker in a Champion vs. Champion Match, which John Cena will win via disqualification, when The Royal Knights dive in, which brings out Batista and Bobby Lashley to clean house.

If they were smart, they'd have The Spirit Squad face Paul London & Brian Kendrick. That match would be a lot of fun. Seeing Gregory Helms appear, if just to defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Super Crazy, would be a lot of fun.

Big Show and Rob Van Dam will have a match for the ECW World Championship, and for some reason, I can actually see the title changing hands. Maybe DX shenanigans? If they really want DX on the card (and I know this is a lot of tag team matches) they should have The Royal Knights. DX could go over them with help from Batista, which renews the fans' interest in him a little, puts over No Mercy, and makes Regal look like a bitch. That's pretty much what the WWE wants to do, isn't it?

My guess is they are building for another Randy Orton vs. Carlito match. Johnny Nitro will probably help Melina steal a victory against whoever her opponent is in the Women's Championship Tournament. For some reason, I can see it being Jillian Hall from SmackDown!. Joey Mercury should attack Nitro after the match, if he is out of rehab.

That's pretty much everybody, isn't it? So yeah, this is how the RAW Family Reunion would go if I was in charge:

-The Hardy Boyz vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team

-Melina vs. Jillian Hall in a Women's Championship Tournament Match

-The Spirit Squad vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick in a Champions vs. Champions Match

-Gregory Helms vs. Super Crazy for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

-The Brothers of Destruction vs. Umaga & Mr Kennedy

-Edge vs. Rey Mysterio

-DX vs. The Royal Knights

-Randy Orton vs. Carlito

-John Cena vs. King Booker in a Champion vs. Champion Match

We all know it's not going to happen like that, though.

how's this a family reunion?

And c'mon. We all know the WWE has been able to deliver on the hype since... um... :?:

Yeah exactly, like 5 of these guys have never even been on raw.

Mr. Nerfect

Things they must do on the show:

-Have Kane beat Umaga. This isn't a must, I just want to see it. Kane has been a constant on RAW, it's time to give him his moment.

-The Hardy Boyz vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team Reunion Match. Paul London and Brian Kendrick join Jim Ross and JBL on commentary for this one.
-Chris Jericho appears as a guest on the Cutting Edge. This is used to tease a Chris Jericho return, with Edge making fun of all Edge's failures outside of the business. Jericho can then do whatever he can to save face. Probably just to add fuel to the Edge vs. John Cena fire.

-No McMahons! Please, no McMahons. They'll be back, though. DX could probably win the World Tag Team Championship or something, just to pop the crowd and make the titles seem like they mean something.

Only thing I like about this show is that it'll be the first time having all 3 World Titles under one roof. Other than that, it's guarenteed to suck.

So it's okay to express optimism, but not pessimism.

Though honestly, I can't picture WWE screwing the pooch with this one...
