It didn't help that we started with Candice Michelle and Lita. Was it just me or did it look like when Cena was running to the ring, he botched diving into the ring.

The Cena/Edge promo was decent at best. I still love a good Lita joke though.

Umaga and Kane is something that is still entertaining me. I've got a good feeling that Umaga will eventually lose to Kane by pinfull. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening till Samoa Joe loses over in TNA.

The DX promo was great with Maria, but that's just because I find Michaels and HHH so entertaining, especially being DX.

The Shelton Benjamin affirmative action thing reeks of him joining Cryme Tyme. I could really see it happening. Either that or its a face turn for him. Either way, I'm beginning to like his character shift.

So Ric Flair is going to be the one who dismembers the Spirit Squad. :roll:

The pop DX got when Are you Ready hit came across loud. The gauntlet match itself was ok, but somewhat predictable. The only team that came as a suprise was the Highlanders. But why put them in this situation to have them job. When Vis's music hit, I knew Cade and Murdoch were last. I wish that if they are bringing back the NWO, they would hurry up and do it, but I can see it happening on the Season Premiere of Raw.

I LOVE the Cryme Tyme promos.

Jeff Hardy going over Shelton was way too obvious. I'm one of the biggest Hardy marks alive, but I'm still finding him boring. I recently bought the Wrestlemania anthology and I was watching the Wrestlemania's with the ladder matches and the TLC matches with the Hardys. When Matt first came back to fight Edge over Lita, I was excited. Ever since then, Matt has bored me. I was excited about Jeff's return but now he is boring me. The only way I'm going to get excited about them is to reunite them on SD.

Hardy's vs Paul London/Kendrick vs Pitbulls vs Idol and Stevens in a Ladder match :drool:

Carlito/SC vs Orton Masters was good, but the thing that intrigues me is the pop that Carlito got before the match, and when he hit the backcracker and the 3 count. Once Orton goes after HHH, put the IC strap on Carlito, and push him to the moon as IC champ.

Bischoff coming out made me happy :love:

Cena vs Lita was obvious. IT was obvious Lita would lose. When the SD stars came out, I was pissed. I am so sick of this King Booker angle. I'm sick of him making people kiss his feet. ( I know its storyline but still) I'm sick of him parading around like a homo, I'm sick of his music, I'm sick of William Regal, I'm sick of Booker with the title. If they put Lashley over Booker, I swear to god, Ill cream my pants.

Really the one sore spot that keeps repeating in my mind is why the fuck the Highlanders were even in the match. They're the top face tag team on RAW behind DX (who, let's face it, probably aren't going to be going after the tag titles anytime soon), and they get squashed. I guess the technically save face because they went to humor route, but there was NO reason to job them out and NO reason for them to be facing DX the way they did.

I didn't think last night's RAW was worse than any other RAWs I've seen recently. I agree with Xero about the Highlanders. What was the point of putting them in the match if they were just going to do the job so quickly? Cena's Lita jokes always make me laugh (calling women whores is entertaining). King Booker is one of the more entertaining gimmicks going in wrestling, so seeing him beat down on Cena was worth sitting through the five second match Cena had with Lita.

Overall, RAW isn't getting any worse each week. It certainly isn't anything special, but it doesn't make me want to change the channel in disgust.

I didn't think RAW was too bad this week. There was absolutely no reason for the whole DX skit. I know they are over, and they make shit-loads for the WWE, but they suck. I'm sorry, but if they aren't going to add new members, there is no point.

Jobbing The Highlanders out to them was redundant, because Rory and Robbie are a comedy team. Cryme Tyme are the team they're going to push to World Tag Team Championship success. Oh, how I wish they'd give Shad Gaspard and JTG, Ric Flair as a manager. :drool:

Kane and Umaga are actually having a decent feud. They need to make Kane a pure psycho, again, and having Estrada take some bumps is the way to do it. I think he does have training as a wrestler. They are really building this up to some kind of Specialty Match, which will probably take place at Cyber Sunday. Umaga will probably go over, but I don't think his character needs to be undefeated. Hell, if the WWE brings back the nWo, with Eric Bischoff as a mouthpiece, I'd have Umaga start using his real name, and join them. Then point out he trained in Japan, is cousin to The Rock, and can fly. That will get him over the company's future monster. Fuck this Samoa Jamal shit.

King Booker looked really out of place on RAW, which I think is good. It always kirks me when guys cross brands so easily. None of that for the former Booker T. Part of me still wishes they'd end the brand split. It'd fix a lot of the WWE's problems. Plus, with King Booker a heel World Champion, and John Cena a babyface World Champion, they have a unification match all set for Survivor Series.

Shelton Benjamin needs to turn face. He shows much more personality as a face, although some of the subtle things he does as a heel are quite good. Did anyone else notice him choke Jeff Hardy for a bit when he had him in the corner. It just seemed so natural. A feud with King Booker would be pretty sweet, but they need to move him to SmackDown! for that to happen.

If the rumours about The Hardy Boyz and The World's Greatest Tag Team are true, I'd have both teams re-unite at the RAW Family Reunion. You don't even need to explain them getting back together. It's a reunion. The Hardy Boyz should be on SmackDown! with the cruiserweight tag teams. The World's Greatest Tag Team could really do the leg-work in a feud with Cryme Tyme, providing CT are willing to do their part.

Yeah, you make alot of sense. I have also built a tolerance to strong, over the top, gimmicks. But to me, Booker's gimmick is so rediculous and goofy, that works. He is so fake and foolish, that I can't help but laugh and say, "This guy is a f*ckin moron". It's a "now that's comedy" kind of thing.
