WTF

he supposedly ate some of the painkillers they perscribed to him for his hand and had to get his stomach pumped..

ESPN (http://espn.com)

Again, WTF..

That is really fucked up. The article kind of makes it sound like he only got depressed because of his recent pain pills, which is a lot better than him being depressed this whole time. I guess we'll see what happens, but I feel bad for the guy.

But is he starting on Sunday?

Kris P Lettus
09-27-2006, 11:43 AM
ESPN is saying that both the Niners and Eagles staff asked him to get psychiatric help.. Seems he's had mental problems for a while..

This will be the lead story on all the sports talk shows on ESPN like Around the Horn and Pardon The Interruption.

NOt to make light of the situation, and it really is a sad thing. But isn't it obvious this guy has issues and has had them for a long time?

Supposed to be a press conference now, but just got pushed back to 3:15 pm. The guy has been kind of unstable, but he's just saying it was an allergic reaction.

Triple A
09-27-2006, 01:41 PM
He is denying it.

The document says that his friend said he was "depressed" though and when asked if he tried to harm himself, TO says "yes" so I dunno. FUCKED UP.

Kris P Lettus
09-27-2006, 01:48 PM
He supposedly ate like 35 painkillers..

A horse would have an "allergic reaction" to that much opiates..

dablackguy
09-27-2006, 02:22 PM
Not to be insensitive, but this strikes me as a bullshit hoax. Here's why:

What we know:

ESPN has reported that he was found overdosed on the meds he was taking for his broken hand.

Well it certainly wasn't an allergic reaction because if it were, we would have known it by now. He's been on the meds since the 18th. Surely, he would have had a reaction by now. You're not only allergic to something in massive doses like this supposedly was.

Since we're on the term massive doses, ESPN also reports that they took him into the hospital, but did not pump his stomach.

I would certainly think that if someone took a massive dose of pain medication, they would have pumped his stomach, especially if it was as people are saying, a potentially lethal dose.

T.O. was released this morning around 9 a.m.

Well, it seems to me that if they didn't pump his stomach and they let him go this morning, only hours after this all happened, it doesn't strike me as anything remotely serious, because if it were, they would have at least kept him for observation.

Denied it..

Said he was fucked up when they asked was he trying to hurt himself, which is why he said "yes"..

He also said that they didn't pump his stomach..

I still hate him..

Jesus Shuttlesworth
09-27-2006, 03:43 PM
Yeah I bet he took the medication with like 395835 different pills from GNC or some shit and just had a reaction to them. I highly doubt the dude was trying to kill himself, I dunno he'd have to be the greatest actor ever because he is one of the cockiest people in the world.

This whole situation wasn't neccessary. Just because it was T.O it was so blown up. Instead of worrying about his well being people are looking for dirt.

Yeah he has brought a lot of it on himself but still. It was all for nothing.

Jesus Shuttlesworth

He probably took them while in sleeping his hyperbaric chamber

Also I love how people "hate this guy" when he is just a shithead on field related stuff.

This is gonna go on for a while now too, obviously they are going to keep talking about it but I mean they are gonna keep showing the same exact shit over and over since they are going to be assuming people are just getting back from work or whatever.

ESPN was rediculous today. It's not fucking 9-11, you don't have to stop all programming and replace it with 80 percent speculation 20 percent press conferences.

I don't know what to think, if it was real or not, but it probably makes more sense to find out what the hell is actually happening before you sensationalize the whole damn thing.

NFL Network was doing just as much press on this as ESPN was.

But, then again, this was an NFL story, and high profile...and...OH FUCK IT!! ESPN are a bunch of fucktards.

And how much of a fag was Bob Ley? The same guy who hosted that pro-wrestling is violent shit six years ago is STILL at ESPN?! The fucker doesn't know anything about sports from what I've watched. Still, no matter what the situation or who would NORMALLY be on duty in the SC studios at that point, if it would be deemed "controversial", they suddenly beam in Bob Ley out of fucking NOWHERE to cover it like he was the Larry King of sports coverage or something. But we never see him anywhere else except for a half hour on that Outside The Lines thing (in which is a waste of time).

If for nothing else, ESPN proved two things in this coverage:
They can get T.O. out of his "depression" by sucking his dick and swallowing a gallon of his cum a day.
Bob Ley is the guy to assume the position first, right before ESPN decided to keep the fossil around for the rest of eternity, God help us ALL!

The whole thing was bullshit.

Also, I just want to say that, as an Eagles fan, I'm tired of the media saying "What does Philadelphia think about this?" Who the fuck cares what the Philly fans think? Who cares what McNabb, Reid, or anyone else thinks within the Philly orginization? For example, the Philly sports channel here never shuts up about T.O....we get it, he caused problems within the team last year but, I just wish the media would leave it alone and that the Philly fans (the ones who still bitch about what he did) would just shut up about it already. It's getting old. Let the guy destroy Dallas or let him be a success in Dallas and leave the Eagles association where it belongs which is in the past.

Ok, I'm done :p
