OK, I'm sorry if these have been covered in other threads, but it's the first I'd heard of any of these. They should all be in stores by Christmas, since they are in my comic book store's December catalog and all have the note that "This item may be available through other retail outlets before shipping to comic book specialty shops."

Here are the books with their printed descriptions:

"How I Helped Kill Kayfabe: from Internet Geek to Wrestling Insider" by Bob Ryder. This compelling chronicle details Bob Ryder's involvment in wrestling journalism and his insider role in three of the industry's most important promotions - Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). 300 pages, softcover, MSRP $19.95

"National Wrestling Alliance: The Untold Story" by Tim Hornbaker. From its humble beginnings in the Midwest after World War II to its world-wide expansion and eventual dominance of a $25-million-a-year industry, the National Wrestling Allaince's (NWA) rise and fall is detailed in this dramatic tale. 300 pages, softcover, MSRP $19.95

"Sex, Drugs and Wrestling: The Truth, the Lies and the Extremes" by Tod Gordon. This behind-the-scenes glimpse from Tod Gordon, the man responsible for the creation of Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), includes profiles of all the stars, as well as shocking tales of backstage debauchery, fantastic feuds, and tender amusements of the men and women who put their bodies on the line for ECW. 300 pages, softcover, MSRP $19.95

I'll read any book that comes out and has something to do with wrestling. I love reading revisionist history. Or I should just say that I love to read history.
