Team 3D came to terms on a new one year deal with TNA recently. The deal has an option for a second year as well. According to reports, both were overheard telling people at the TNA TV tapings on Monday that TNA is the best place for them right now considering the state of the business.

I am actually quite shocked they still havn't won the NWA Tag Titles yet. I thought for sure they would win them off of AMW a while back, but I guess not. And TNA needs 3D now more than ever since they are (FINALLY) splitting AMW up. I mean Styles/Daniels I don't buy as a legit Tag Team, James Gang and Naturals are kind of reputable, but no where near title contention. LAX is really the only solid tag team they have currently in my eyes. Having said that TNA's tag division wipes the floord with the entire tag division of RAW and SmackDown combined.

I'm generally bored of them, but they are name value for TNA which is good for them.

TNA has done an effective job of making me not give a shit about Team 3D anymore. Unless they plan on doing something huge with them in the next year (read: give them the titles) it seems worthless to resign them.

Well, I guess it keeps them from being swayed away by WWE's money, but that's about it.

I cant take the Dudley's serious ever since their "WWE SUX (even though they made their name there), TNA RULEZZZ!" promos. Same with Rhino, his anti-WWE promos were just fucking childish/hilariously stupid.

I also can't stand calling them "Team 3D". I always refer to them as the Dudleyz.

Does anyone care about Rhino? I feel bad for Christian having to work a program with him. I mean he hasn't been worth while since Heyman was behind the booth. And since we seem to be talking about ECW turned WWE turned TNA guys, good god did they drop the fuckin ball with Raven. I mean, just, wow. I don't even understand how they could take someone who was so over and make him so bland.

I honestly can't say I give a shit about them anymore. Which is a shame, because I use dto love 'em.

Team 3D is such a shitty name. Not that anything would work besides the Dudleyz but I know they can't legally use the 'Dudley' name but anyway....I agree with Kane Knight. They aren't even entertaining anymore in TNA.

I agree. Felt sorry for Rhino as he tried to be all serious about it, i couldn't help but laugh at him.

I'm not sure I understand this. Better than wrestling as the Dudley Boyz for bigger money and with all of their friends in ECW where they'd probably actually be doing something? Seems like they're lying to themselves to me but I dont know. Does anyone know more of what they mean?

They basically mean that they just don't want to work with Vince Mcmahon and the only other company where they can be on tv is TNA.

The name thing might be fixed when they come back.

Same here. Their gimmick in TNA has been that they were released from the WWE, can't use the name Dudleys, and are pissed that they brought back ECW.

It's fine to be pissed off about it, I'd be too.

Maybe they should put more effort into being entertaining and innovative than complaining about a company they used to work for.

And as much as they bash WWE, they're still using a few things they picked up in the WWE. Their music, entrance, and look are all identical to their later years in the WWE. Why not go for a different theme, pyro, and wear better attire than their Sunday comfort wear.

I could live with another name, since WWE owns everything under the sun, but they basically killed my interest by coming to TNA and instead of just wrecking shit, or dominating, they became another pair of whiny little bitches who complained about the E and their problems.

They pretty much just became another TNA group, and that's not good, because the Dudleyz, by ANY name, should be more than that. They CAN be more than that, and it's just shitty to see them relagate themselves to this level in TNA.

I don't know what it is about TNA, but they seem to suck EVERYTHING good out of the people they bring in. I hate to say it because they've got some great talent. There's just something less interesting about seeing someone in TNA. Crappy booking? Naw. Even WWE seems more exciting, and they trademarked crappy booking.

I agree. They really need to stop looking just like their WWE versions.

I really dont understand how TNA manages to mess up some of the stuff they have. You have the New Age Outlaws and the Dudley Boys as tag teams, use them correctly and it'd be awesome. Just because they can't use the exact names doesnt mean they can't make it work. And if they're gonna refer to the WWE and thrive off the past, they shouldnt bash it as Dorkchop said. Either completely re-invent yourselves or embrace the past, dont sit on the fence.
I cant put my finger on what it is about TNA that comes off as so.. skeevy.
It seems like everything there is terribly presented. I wouldnt be suprised if they managed to screw up Angle in a few short months. Things have track records, and when something big comes over from the company you're trying to compete with, you've got to present it as basically what it was there.
When Nash and Hall went to WCW they weren't all new, they were used in the same way. Same thing with Jericho, the Radicalz and basically any big name that changed companies.
Why does it seem like TNA gives them all makeovers and make them seem like greasy, broke, has-beens at a independent gymnasium hosted event.

Yeah, I know what you mean and it seems every single promo they cut has something to do with bitching about WWE and claiming that TNA is the better company in some way. They have just become dull in TNA.

I'd like it if they spent less time putting over the competition and more time into not sucking.
