Console/Network: XBox 360/XBLive

Overview:

The concept of an online league isn't new. It's been done with other games with other groups of people. It's well known that some of us have had matches in SvR's previous attempts at online play with PS2. Still, a full blown league wasn't viable, mostly due to PS2's bad netwok among other things. But here we are with the most popular WWE game on the best console gaming network (so far). What does this mean? It means we gotta take a nice hard shot at a TPWW league. Not all of us will have a 360 when the game drops, or even broadband internet; which is why the key word here is Beta. This is a Beta League. And I suspect that a full-blown TPWW League will not be what we want it to be until the SmackDown! after this one, which is okay. So long as we give this bad-boy a try.

Before I go on just know that none of this is written in stone, comments and suggestions are more than welcome. This has to work for the majority.

The People's World Wrestling:

Clever, eh? I must've ran through 8 names and acronyms for a proper name for our promotion. Then it occured to me that the best way to represent ourselves online is to keep the classic letters of our group. In a sense we'll be an unofficial clan with this name. Long story short, the promotion is called TPWW. Simple, yet I'm proud of myself. This doesn't have to be the final name and we can hold some sort've poll for the title; but this all I got for now.

Structure:

Aside from random exibition play; TPWW will be an organized affair. The window of participation will be alot larger than a real TV show ofcourse, seeing as how we're spread across many timezones. This means everyone in TPWW will not be in a single event. "But when two or three are gather in it's name, it will be there." Meetings under the TPWW banner will be billed as one of three event types; Dark, TV, and PPV. Results of such events will be posted in realistic manner in TPWW's forums, but only after the event finishes.

TPWW Superstars:

If you've been wondering; yes, it would make sense that we enter the promotion via CAW's exclusively. How many CAW's someone can have in the promotion isn't in mind right now. I've thought about a dress code for the CAW's as well (as me and my guys do at home), and it's actually a decent little cap-off that keeps things nice and realistic. But like everything else it's best we discuss it in real time. It does make sense that most of us have a Main Eventer, Mid-Carder, Jobber, so-on...

Championship Gold:

The exact name and number of TPWW Titles isn't in mind, but I know we'll have them and you can fight over them online. So what me and my guys do with such a system initially is have a King of the Ring Style touny to decide who the first champs will be. Then after that we carry on in typical pro-wrestling fashion.

What say you guys so far? Help me out here.

I felt like elaborating once some ideas came in.

Events:

Once challenges are given/accepted and the card is set (printed here), the opponants have to coordinate amongst themselves to get the match going. Within a reasonable timeframe, I think this will be a decent system for all members. I don't know if there's gonna be a sort of Lobby type thing for the online mode or if others can spectate a match, until then we'll have to assume that two guys will be going to work at a time.
