Recommend redoneja some good rap music

Trying to expand my horizons. So recommend me your favorite rap album or two please. I only have like 3 rap albums and out of them my favorite is Kanye West's College Dropout. I'm thinking about buying his sophomore release Late Registration but I haven't heard anything about it. Added to this is my very elementary knowledge of the genre and its artists so I'm up for suggestions.

Late Registration is fantastic and personally one of my favorite albums of any genre. Kanye is a good transitional choice if you're just getting into rap. You don't wanna turn yourself off to rap by listening to the hardcore underground stuff first. Gotta get your feet wet. Another good transition album would be the Black Album by Jay-Z.
