Yeah I'd rather go on people's recommendations than just dive into some dodgy site, so feel free to fire away:p

There are a lot of torrent programs but I find uTorrent to be the best. It's also the smallest.

I use Bitcomet for a torrent program. uTorrent is good too.

as far as sites. Mainly use torrentspy.com or thepiratebay.org

www.mininova.org
utorrent is the best client.

Always read the notes, and comments, It'll usually tell you if it's a fake.

Also, look at www.vcdquality.com and check the version you want to download, you will find out some good info there.

Demonoid is the best torrent site on the net, honestly nothing else even comes close.

I used to use BitComet, but now I use Azureus. BitComet is probably eaiser to use - go with that :y:

when getting music I found that Ares is the easiest to use and navigate.

Im now using Limewire and plan to use uTorrent sometime soon.

BitComet is outdated, Azureus uses Java and too overloaded, BitLord...lol

uTorrent has all the features you need and is tiny. By far the best option for a torrent program. Seeding means that you are uploading the files you have downloaded. Torrents "require" you to upload to get a better speed but it all depends on how much others are uploading.

now its saying its seeding.

It means you are sharing the download.

Do a torrent search for Canopus procoder 2 and download it.

when youve got it I'll run you through the steps to convert the avi files to VOB for burning to DVD

Yeah, I could use that avi conversion knowledge.

I've been using utorrent all summer. Uses next to no memory and is just as fast as bit comet. Azureus damn near crashes my pc, so I couldn't d/l any other time than at night when no one else was using the comp.

I've been using bitlord, as it has it's own search facility, so you know you won't have any problems with the files when you start them.

I believe the majority of torrent programs have search features. I can't think of a top one that doesn't.

I am now using uTorrent - it is offically the best client on the net, I can't believe how much of a resource whore Azureus was :nono:
