Cell saga was awesome and it had so many cool moments.
The Frieza sage would have been much cooler if I understood what sex Freiza was meant to be. Was it female or Male?

Cell Saga, and Frieza was a male that had a female doing is voice for some reason, but at least he had the same voice in every game/episode/movie he was in(only movies he was in were Bardock: The Father Of Goku and Plan To Destroy The Saiyans).

Frieza Saga and Cell Saga. They were tie-ups for me.
But Frieza did it, just for the emergence of Super Saiyan Goku. Awesome transformation.

The freiza sage was preety sick but what pissed me off is when I used to watch it it had an episode of DBZ every week day and if you remember Frieza made some massive energy ball in the core of Namak and she would make it explode in 5 minutes. That 5 minutes spanned about 30 half an hour episodes. So gay.
The Cell sage on the other hand had so many awesome moments. Piccolo and Vegeta kicked arse and the Goku was the man

Buu Saga.
The last part with Kid Buu was trememdous.

I personally liked the Saiyan saga. I've always been a fan of the underused characters, so seeing Yamcha, Tien, Chiatzu and Piccolo get killed by that badass Nappa was pretty sweet. Vegeta was also at his most evil here, and the creepy little bastard you know is going to kill some motherfuckers sooner or later.
To be perfectly honest, they should have let Goku stay dead after he self-destructed to take out Cell and failed. It would have been a fitting end for the character. I didn't really like it once they threw all those Super Saiyan levels into the mix. It was always about Goku and Vegeta becomming more powerful so they could kill an alien force, and it got kind of stale. So yeah, my personal pick for best was the simplest saga, followed by the Frieza saga (which was only lesser probably because I am less nostalgic towards it) and the Cell saga comes after that, etc. If I had to choose between Garlic Jr. and Buu, the latter would win hands down.

lol, Garlic Jr....
Isn't even canon to the series. If I'm not mistaken, it was a US only thing.
