Not a big fan of voting for the front runners, like I just did (Pujols) but I really don't see anyone else as valued as he is to his team... Although Howard was the man this year too. Ah well, already voted.

Howard for sure.

If we could rank, like they really do, I would put Pujols first and Beltran second. Besides hitting a lot of home runs, I think the other two are much more complete players than Howard. Maybe I missed the memo on how awesome he is, but if I was in the NL this year, I would want Pujols on my team more than I'd want Howard.

I don't know I mostly based it on the consistency throughout the season. I mean Howard was the most consistent out of the choices IMO. My main reason for not picking Pujols was because of the period of time when he was injured.

I'd say the injury helped Pujols's case for MVP cause St. Louis sucked without him, so basically he carried that team to the playoffs. Otherwise it might have been Houston or Cincinatti there.

Had Philly gotten to the playoffs I'dve gone for Howard but Pujols gets it just.

I think Lance Berkman deserves more credit than his 0 votes too:p He's quietly (well relatively) had a monster season, not as monster as Howard or Ortiz in the AL but fuck me look at those stats, he's putting up Bagwell type numbers.

Yeah I was thinking Berkman isn't getting any respect. Behind Howard and Pujols though, it's tough to vote for him. It surprises me that people that did not vote for Howard or Pujols didn't vote for Berkman. Beltran's numbers where aided by an awesome offensive lineup and Nomar (love the guy) didn't produce the stats that Berkman did.

Apparently Hero missed the message, Roger Clemens came back to Houston this year, he is their whole team, he is the only reason they almost made the playoffs, he is the best pitcher of our generation, he is....yeah, Berkman is pretty damn good.
