- Greatest line of the Night: JBL calling Cole a Wrestling Historian after Cole corrected JBL on a finish from LAST WEEK! Seriosuly though I love JBL's commentary especially the fact that he isn't the cut and dry heel that loves all heels and hates all faces. How can you dislike a man who hates the Miz.
He's started to give his thoughts on every wrestling show he watches now. He's pretty brief with what he says which is better than Kanyon rambling over and over about what kind of toothpaste he considered purchasing now that's he's come out of the closet.

Wait, JBL isn't a 'cut and dry heel' wtf? All I ever hear is him siding with the heels and complaining about the faces. Only once has he praised a face team and that was London/kendrick after their win at GAB. But other than that he is a 'cut and dry' heel. His commentary is so predictable now that he bores me to an extent.

Incorrect.
He hates Sylvan, and he hates the Miz. Plus, he doesn't totally bash all faces either.
This even more solidifies Lance Storm as The Man.
I'm sure he wasn't laughing when he saw Luger on TNA a few weeks ago.

For instance, he constantly talks about how Matt Hardy "has all the tools".
Another heel JBL has disdain for is MVP.

JBL also puts over Kendrick and London as the New Rockers all the time

I forgot MVP, but yeah. He goes on about Hardy's past success, and how he could have a great future. Not exactly a stereotypical heel result.
Which is part of what's good about him. He generally sides with the heel, or against the face, but not always. He does mix it up, and he seems like an announcer, not a "bad guy."

"Homer, I can honestly say that was the greatest episode of Impy and Dimpy I'd ever seen!"

Ah yeah i forgot about those moments, i guess he isn't your regular heel commentator but most of the time it just seems like blatant heel commentating which gets very very boring. Forgot about that MVP promo he commentated on.

JBL has his own personality, and that is what makes him a good commentator. He has his own opinions and feelings, and expresses them without taking sides.

Um, he does take sides quite a lot, just the odd heel he hates on.
