Think about this now......all along, this is what Vince SHOULD have done when he bought WCW 5 years ago. Instead, we got a compromised 4 month story arc with many of that brands second-tier members--and let's not forget the Alliance!

What good pairings would you have though? Sure the under and mid-cards would be hot, but TNA's ME REALLY doesn't stack up against the WWE's at all. Just my opinion.
But to answer the question, yes. I would order it. (I order them all so naturally this would fall into that category.)
And let's not forget the Invasion PPV.
I think this would be a realistic card, knowing the WWE...
Sharkboy vs. Matt Hardy, Sharkboy over
Team 3D vs. The Spirit Squad, SS over
LAX vs. Cryme Tyme, CT over
Christie Hemme and Jackie vs. Candice and Ashley, Candice and Ashley over
Abyss vs. Kane, Abyss over
The Undertaker vs. Sting, Undertaker over
DX vs. The James Gang (If they're even together anymore), DX over
Umaga vs. Joe, Umaga over
Christian vs. Edge, TLC Match, Edge over
Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle (Team TNA) vs. Cena and Booker T (Team WWE), Team WWE over

As for your suggested WWF/WCW PPV in 2001, things were a little more complicated than you think. They couldnt just built a company vs company fued because a lot of the contracts didnt carry over, and they didnt have the TV time for Nitro and all that stuff anymore. But devils advocate I'll try to think up a card and post it.

I would order it because if they were anywheres half decent bookers, an ultimate x match between CM Punk, Christopher Daniels, and Chris Sabin, would make me cry with joy.
I would like to see it go something like this:
MAIN EVENT
Samoe Joe vs. Edge w/ Lita
8-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
Team TNA: Jeff Jarrett, Christian Cage & America's Most Wanted vs.
Team WWE: John Cena, Batista & D-Generation-X
FATAL FOURWAY ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH
Christopher Daniels & AJ Styles vs. LAX vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. the One Night Only return of The Hardy Boyz
MONSTER'S BALL MATCH
Rob Van Dam vs. The Big Show vs. Abyss vs. Raven
CLASH OF THE LEGENDARY
Sting vs. The Undertaker
SINGLES MATCH
Shelton Benjamin vs. Petey Williams
TOP CRUISERWEIGHT/X-DIVISION ELIMINATION MATCH

LMAO, a TNA/WWE cross-brand PPV would feature ex-WWE stars version current WWE stars. Nothing we haven't seen before. That's what happened with ECW in the beginning of its revival. RVD, Angle, Big Show...we've seen them all before. I'm sure it'll be Christian, Angle, Rhyno, Team 3D, Spike, James Gang, etc. Even Christy Hemme would get more screen time than the TNA stars...'cept maybe Sting.

Paul London & Brian Kendrick VS Christopher Daniels & AJ Styles.
:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:
I said it before in another thread, but if these two teams were given a decent amount of time to work in (about 20-30 minutes) this could be one of the most entertaining matches ever!
